1- no kitchen for preparing food for kids, though i think if we asked the staff they would allow us to use a kitchen. but i prefer it is part of the deal.
2- the baby cod is not suitable for kids who can climb,(our baby is 1.5 year) they can climb and fall. also i beleive the owner would have found a solution if we asked, but our baby didn't feel good those 2 nigths and we made him sleep between us in the bed. so we didn't need it.
3- we don't know how safe is slovenia espescially near the cities, so i guess the family that operates the place slept in a near city one of the nights and we didn't felt completely safe(though it might be an individual fears) but in the other hand, by doing so, they made us feel at home.
3-the road of about 300 meters to the house from the main road is unpaived and u might manipulate with another road that might lead you to the other side of the gardens fence into the feilds through a realy bad unpaved road. so when you get of the main road just take the good unpaived road strait ahead. once you found it the first time it's so easy after.
4- for visiting only ljublijana the place is 30 minutes from the city. but if you are making a star trip it's a perfect place.
two beautiful & traditional buildings consisting of 2 floors. old and classic furniture. surounded with a wide peice of land planted with flowers, peach, sun flowers etc...
we had a room with one double bed and one single bed and a baby cod even though we reserved a smaller one with only one double bed and a cod.
a very sweet family with 3 young kids owns and operated the place.
they are so enthusiast to explain about there country and pass detailed information where to go and why.
a great breakfast in a big but intimate lovely dining room with lot of light and a lovely desgin, though too much :) , adapted to us as a family with childrens(milk, coffee, yogurt, eggs, cheese, butter, homemade jams, bread, nutella, cereals, ham, bacon...)
there is a trampuline in the garden they didn't mind our kids played with it.
the husband is also a proffisional carpenter(but as a hobby).
the place in the feilds has a view all around till the mountains to the north of Slovenia.
the room is in the second floor (approx. 15 stairs)' there is a shared family lobby outside the room with sofa, tv, and magazine, decorated with old leather furniture and Big boxes. there is also a little fridge and a coffee stand(without coffee and tea but equipped with sugar, spoons and electric pot outside the room right beside the door.
the have baby seat for dining, a thing we didn't have in the other also lovely farm houses we stayed in through our 8 days visit to slovenia.
for visiting only ljublijana the place is 30 minutes from the city. but if you are making a star trip it's a perfect place.
