On a small island surrounded by the Krka River lies the rebuilt Otocec Castle Hotel, offering a perfect atmosphere for weddings, parties and business meetings. The castle was recently renovated, but kept the Gothic and Renaissance elements, creating a unique atmosphere of past times combined with the luxuries and comfort of today. A romantic dinner served by staff in medieval clothes is only one of the unforgettable events you will take part in. The castle walls date back to 1252, and the Otocec is situated in the picturesque lush region of Dolenjska, famous for its rivers, valleys, forests and vineyards. The Castle is really beautiful and the buildings restoration perfect.The hotel staff kind and professional at a level which is rare to find. I'll strongly recommend this hotel for a weekend of pure relax of for an important business meeting surrounded by an absolutely unique atmosphere.

Pure luxury. The rooms were very comfortable, we even had a jacuzzi in our bathroom! Breakfast was delicious with lots of healthy choices and hot food was cooked to order. The staff were very hospitable.

Ho soggiornato 4 giorni a Otocec Castle Hotel nei primi giorni di Maggio. Premetto che ho soggiornato in passato in hotels 5 stelle della stessa catena Relais et Chateaux e psso affermare che l'Otocec Castle Hotel non ha nulla da invidiare ad altri hotels in quanto a comfort, pulizia dei locali, cordialità dello staff, servizi, cucina, posizione incantevole ...fuori dal mondo frenetico in cui viviamo. Una vera oasi di relax per ritemprare anima e corpo!

Die LaGE; die gediegene Einrichtung und ein gutes Service. Das Frühstücksbuffet entspricht nicht dem internationalen 5Stern-standard, außerdem ist der Wellnessbereich außer Haus unbequem.

Ci ha affascinato molto la collocazione dell'hotel nel vecchio castello sull'isola, la tranquillità che regna ovunque, l'ottimo livello gastronomico del ristorante e le fantastiche fioriture delle piante erbacee presenti negli splendidi boschi circostanti.
