Pension Bomi

Bra frukost, fin utsikt, rent på rummet och i badrummet, personalen (far och dotter) snäll och vänlig. Höga priser i Bled med omnejd därför ändå acceptabelt för gäster med små anspråk på komfort.

Pensionatet är nedslitet och behöver rejäl upprustning. Allmänt otrivsam entré och matsal, så även trappor och korridorer. Möbleringen gammaldags och obekväm. Mycket branta trappor till sovrummen. Handdukar mycket slitna och gamla. Uppfarten mycket brant för bil. Från parkeringen brant och handikappovänlig backe till pensionatet

The view is great. Every room has a viewi of Lake Bled which is awesome. Its truly value for money.

Its difficult to locate the hotel though, needed to call the hotel a couple of times to get direction.

The hotel is located in the woods from the crowd of the city. The staff was courteous. The facilities appropriate for budget travellers, and gives a feeling of living in the woods, but not far from the city.

The location of the hotel should be displayed better on the road; access roads could be better.

Really, the only thing we liked about the hotel was the view out of our window - the lake and the Church on the island.

We should have paid more attention to the remarks on the website about the drive up to this hotel. It is a steep,rutted gravel drive, much worse than we were expecting. Luckily, we were able to park at the top (only a couple of spots there) because I'm not sure we could have made the climb. The first thing on entering the hotel was the overwhelming food smell. And then we climbed two steep flights of stairs with very dirty carpeting, to our sparsely furnished room. The bathroom looked clean enough but very tacky and old. The breakfast was just ok. . This is definitely not a hotel for mature adults. We would never recommend it to anyone. We have stayed in many very nice places for the same or less money.

I liked the location and the size of the room.

The pension is rustic and very friendly. The proprietor and staff were excellent their willingness to help us to enjoy our stay there. We stayed for eight days and used it as a base for a wedding and then several walking days. The room was very large with a superb view of the lake. I would defnitely return to the pension if goingto Bled.

fantastic staff, very tentive. Great view and location. We had to leave early, so they made us the best ever pack up. Would definetly stay again.

Great charming hotel with a great view of Lake Bled. Some have made comment about the drive way and accessability - dont take any notice. Yes it is up a gravel drive way, but 99% of drivers could easily manage it and the location at the southwest of the lake gives you the best views in Bled away from the crowds.

My mother who is 80 with knee difficulties went with us on our trip. There is no elevator, the driveway is steep, and there are quite a few steps up to the rooms. This is not a complaint as my son and I were not challenged by this at all and it shouldn't be a problem for anyone in reasonably good physical condition. The friendly staff was more than willing to carry suitcases or help in any other way possible. Even though it is impossible to complain about the scenery anywhere surrounding Lake Bled, in our opinion Pension Bomi is located on the prettiest side of the lake (although crossing the street allows for a better view than windows in the hotel). There is a rather strenuous walking trail right next to the hotel which allows for the best views of Lake Bled and the surrounding area (much better than the view from the castle). It was well worth the effort. For the money, it was the best value I could find and I would definately go there again. It is a little difficult to find, so make sure to have directions before you go.

Staff were knowledgable and very helpful. Views from the terrace and balcony were stunning.

Parking was a bit difficult up a steep, gravelly driveway.

The staff was extremely welcoming and the view is indescribably beautiful!
