Everything and especially the restaurant!

Shower temperature was unstable and in the evening almost useless.

Nothing. Well, perhaps a lady who is in charge of guests. She's very helpful and do her best to help out guests unlike the owner.

Stay clear of this hotel/motel. We stayed there because it was the only hotel/motel that had an available triple room. Cleanliness and the equipment leave a lot to be desired. Apparently, on and off there are parties taking place in the restaurant with loud music. It's a pity that the owner did not bother to let us know about that beforehand. The party on the day we were there was until midnight. The owner is very cheeky and not attentive to your needs. Don't go there!!!

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful - the location is excellent, especially if traveling by car. Friendly faces, useful advice and great cuisine. would recommend everyone booking accommodation at this great place!

The staff was very friendly, breakfasts were good, a lof of food for everyone. The room was nice and clean.

The bed was very soft for me.

Restaurant, WI-FI, location next to the highways. Clean room, new furniture.

In the shower weas low pressure and the temperature was changing every few seconds.

Heating in the rooms not functioning (3 out of 4 heating bodied were malfunctioning), room smelled of mold.

Practically we liked everything, the room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was good too, the staff went out of their way to be helpful and have a friendly chat. We also enjoyed dining there,food was delicious and budget friendly. Transport to centre was across the road as well as the lidl supermarket in case we needed some nibbles.We wish our stay was longer and if we happen to visit Ljublijana again we shall definitely choose the Pension Jelen.The TV in our room worked perfectly and we had ample chanels to choose from.

There was nothing that I really didn't like cause if we needed another glass or chair or anything within limit it was promptly provided.

The atmosphere and the decoration was very Slovenian, which added to the overall journey! Plus the reastaurant at the ground level was visited by many locals which shows the good quality of food and lets you get a taste of non touristic restaurants. The bus stop is just opposite the hotel and takes you straight to city center and close to bus/train station.

Well there is a small problem if your room faces the highway with noise (if you sleep light). And the matress is a bit too soft for some. Overall price, location value for money.

Good location not far from Ljubljana center if you have car but bus station is just on another side of the street.

Pansion is on busy road so people with light sleep can have trouble to sleep.

The menu in the restaurant was really good. We tried many things and eg was really good. The staff was very friendly and flexible. They speak English.

We had 2 major problem during our stay. The bigger one is the quality of the bed, it was terrible, was not comfortable to sleep. The other issue was the traffic. The pension is next to a high traffic road and the windows are not good quality so you can hear eg.

I stayed at Pension Jelen for 1 week and I must say this was a really fabulous place. The staff are absolutely excellent - very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included a range of meats, cheese, cereal, juices and home-made bread (delicious). There is a restaurant where you can have lunch and evening meals. Very reasonably priced and I must say the food is excellent. I especially recommend the pizza's - all made in the restaurant in their wood-fired oven. I normally don't eat pizza - but their pizza is the best I have ever tasted. There is a bus stop just outside the Pension and regular buses take you into the city centre in a matter of minutes. I definitely plan to stay there again when I return to this beautiful country.

There is nothing negative about this Pension.

The location near the higway, parking in the backyard, good restaurant (visited by locals), clean and nicely furnished, wi-fi in all rooms.

The temperature of the water in shower was unstable, not table in the room.

The cleanliness and size of the rooms and the kindness of the staff. The free car park. The central location There were amenities in the bathroom that sometimes you do not even find in 3 stars hotels.

Not big issues, but if I have to point something out, it is: - My room was above the open terrace, and they left the radio on the whole night despite the pension was closed... we couldn't sleep because it was loud... - Breakfast was a bit poor (no tea, no juice) - The pension closed at 11pm and there was nobody at the reception

Good location, very close bus stop, supermarket, cheap.

No hair dryer. Breakfast wasn't good. Coffee and juice were not delicious at all. Wi-fi didn't work.
