Pension Krek is a family-run guest house in the tranquil village of Ribno, only 2 km from lake Bled and 500 metres from the Sava river valley. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the dining room and in most rooms of the Pension. A garage for motorbikes is available and there is also a nice garden to spend relaxing evening hours sipping your favourite drink. There is a dining room where breakfast and dinner is served. Nice location, still too far away from anything. If you do not have a car, I wouldn't tell you to go there. Unfortunetely the roads are very narrow and tiny so that you need a very small car. But, if you search for a cheap place this is for you. Roads are narrow and full of small holes. The roads are mountain roads. There is a church nearby and each morning at 8:00 o'clock sharp is ringing the bell and awakes you up. Even in the week-end. The phone number which is shown on booking.com is not from that place and it answers a person who doesn't speak too well English. I arrived at 9:30 in the evening and because the door ring was not working, I made a call on the specified number and it answered a nice female voice who did not understood what I was requesting, that was to call someone to open the door. Finally, after a second call, another lady opened the door for me. In conclusion, maybe is better to check in earlier.

Mrs Krek is exceptional!! We arrived late due to traffic accidents and road construction but she was waiting for us, dinner was ready and it only got better. Every room has a balcony with a view of the mountains. We did half pension and the breakfasts were excellent with a wide variety of items available. Evening dinner was served at our requested time and the food was "awesome" according to my wife-I agree. After the second evening we asked Mrs Krek to prepare less food as we simply cound eat everything. Dinner is four courses: soup, salad, entree with vegetables and rice or potatoes and the deserts were to die for. The main dishes were chicken, pork twice, beef and fish We are animal lovers and the family dog Lasso made us feel at home when we saw him wach day. The hotel is a bit hard to find but we came in late in the evening in a rain storm so that has to be accounted for. The sifns for the hotel are small but once we saw one the rest of the journey was simple.

Der Frühstück war wirklich super...viel,gute Auswahl und sehr gut. Frühstückraum ist sauber und angenehm. Die Einrichtung in Zimmer ist ziemlich altmodisch, die Möbel auf den Balkon schon lange kaputt, die Aussicht vom Balkon ist miserabel ; unten beim Besitzer liegt Hundekot tagelang auf den Balkon ; die Otschaft ist dreckig und nicht schön und es stinkt nach Sch....., Kuhmist und Ruß von den Kaminen ( man weißt nicht was da verbrannt wird). Für so eine Umgebung ist der Preis viel zu hoch; es ist eine Schande daß solche Zimmer so teuer angeboten weden.

la posizione periferica, rispetto ad una cittadina (Bled), che mi aspettavo molto più tranquilla e romantica; palazzoni, grossi alberghi, sembra Sestriere. struttura ormai obsoleta, da rinnovare.

De landelijkheid de rust,Het ontbijt was erg goed. De kamer was wat veroudert,koud water kwam bijna niets uit de kraan ter wel warm water ruim voldoende was.

V penzionu o nás věděli, parkování bez problémů. Cena vcelku přijatelná. Pro přespání cestou na Jadran vcelku vyhovující. K jezeru Bled blízko.Snídaně vcelku slušná. Bez navigace se to dá dost těžko najít.Pokoj poměrně stísněný, nebyla tam chladnička. Nikdo nám večer nenabídl clazené nápoje (pivo a pod).

è molto comodo per chi , come me ama pescare . la proprietaria è molto gentile e disponibile e parla anche un po' l' italiano. Inoltre c'è a disposizione nel garage il necessario per appendere gli stivali bagnati dopo una giornata di pesca . la colazione è abbondante. Direi che la camera è un po' piccola e il letto non molto confortevole . ma per passare pochi giorni direi che è piu che sufficiente.
