Penzion Boka  

Location great for outdoor activities. Great value for money. Friendly and helpful staff. Pretty good half-board available at very good price-point. Newly renovated rooms.

Room had no window shutters - we were always awoken by early daylight. Restaurant not cleaned daily - some leftovers from the first dinner were only cleaned four days later. Rooms perfectly clean though.

The staff were extremely friendly throughout our stay and were very helpful. We had dinner at Penzion Boka and thought it was decent enough quality for 3 courses for 9 euro (set menu). The room was big, as was the bathroom, no complaints there.

No wifi. We can do without the Internet, but those traveling around may need it.

We decided to stay at Penzion Boka because we wanted to stay central to other places we planned to visit. We had 3 or 4 places we wanted to see and Boka seemed central, making it easier for us to travel back and forth to our points of interest. Plus, the Boka waterfall was nearby and that made it nice for us to walk and explore the area up to the waterfall. The living area of our room was cozy and clean and the bathroom was very clean. We were there when the summer season was just starting so it wasn't too hot and the room temperature was just fine. The breakfast was nice even though we arrived last or near last both days. There was still plenty to eat and we left feeling recharged with fuel for the day's activities. Wi-Fi is not in the rooms but you can ask for a cable and that will get your laptop up and running on the internet without a problem. The cost of the room was affordable, the location was nice and the room was very nice. All in all, Penzion Boka was what we wanted and we were very happy.

The TV was not very big but we didn't watch too much TV, just news and a little football so that wasn't much of a problem for us. The refrigerator did not keep water "ice cold" but it kept it nice, again, not a big problem for us. The hotel could supply some better soap for the shower, but we managed, not a big problem for us. As for the location of the hotel, it's great. However, if you want to have dinner at a place very close to the hotel, that will be kind of tough. Most places to eat or shops are about 4km away. Not a problem for us, we like to explore and found great places to eat in the general area of Trenta. So, if you don't like to wander for dining and supplies, all you'll have is the hotel dining, which isn't bad, but we've always liked looking for family type places to eat.

Our stay was perfect! The location is wonderful if you are looking to stay right in the mountains with close proximity to hiking and exploring. Our room was clean & comfortable. The hotel seemed to be newly renovated. We ate dinner at the hotel and it was fabulous! The staff was great and I would definitely recommend Penzion Boka!

Good location with mountains on your doorstep and excellent opportunities for rafting or other river activities.

We really appreciated the kindness of the staff. And the great view from our window. We asked for a baby cot and we found it there on our arrival, with cushion and baby linen. Rich breakfast included!

Location was great, and the room was very big for the price (in the Alps).

There was a Wedding at the hotel the same night, and the locals partied until 5am making a lot of noise!

They accommodated us with food late night when we arrived late after a long day of traveling.

A very clean, upscale hotel that has conference facilities. Conveniently located next to the Soca River for kayaking and other outdoor sports. The rooms are good sized and the hotel has all the modern amenities. The staff are helpful and considerate.

We found the hotel a little overpriced compared to other small inns and hotels that have a bit more charm. It's outside of town and it's a good choice for outdoor activities but not near restaurants and other resources.

Location, staff, cleanliness

The only improvement we would suggest would be tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Excellent for all. The three reception girls Kristina, Klementine, Th...were kind and efficient for organizing our walks in the Park. The meals were good and the price also. The room perfect

Semmi extra, de jó ár/érték arányú szálloda, szép helyen. Tiszta, tágas szoba és fürdőszoba. Átutazó szállásnak, vagy pl. raftingtúrákhoz tökéletesen megfelel. A félpanziós vacsora fix menü volt, előre kiírva a recepción, hogy el tudjuk dönteni, kérjük-e.

Rooms very comfortable with a loud and efficient bathroom fan. Good view over mountains and trees from bedroom window. Reasonably priced drinks and set meal in restaurant. Just one staff member worked hard to cover a range of jobs from reception, bar and restaurant.

The sat nav co-ordinates took us past the hotel and into the next village and we had to retrace our route, finding the hotel from the picture provided when booking. The hotel's location is along the side of a road between two villages and is somewhat isolated, although near a spectacular waterfall and the Soca river. The location of the hotel necessitated our eating at the hotel rather than venturing out into the locality after a day out. As there were few guests, the atmosphere in the hotel was quiet and isolated as the public areas are quite large.

Tienes todas las prestaciones de un hotel de lujo. Habitación hiperespaciosa, limpia y cómoda. Personal muy agradable y atento. Esta al lado de la cascada Boka y del río Soça (lugar precioso).

Pessima scelta. Personale svogliato. Zero comunicazione dei servizi e delle scelte. Cene senza possibilità di scelta delle pietanze, in pratica sceglievano loro quello che dovevi mangiare, non chiedevano preferenze o ancora più grave senza badare se avevi allergie o intolleranze alimentari, ed erano per lo più cibi precotti, dalla busta al piatto, pane raffermo, insalate con foglie enormi e senza un'altra verdura (costava tanto metterci un pomodoro?). Prima cena a base di pasta con panna asiutta, seconda cena con bistecca suola di scarpa con panna e patatine dalla busta al forno (= grissini). Orribile! E comunque uno di noi era intollerante al lattosio! Colazione scarsa, tutto preconfezionato, hanno offerto solo delle uova strapazzate (piccola porzione ridicola), 1 uovo sodo, frutta vecchia, succhi di frutta pietosi, caffè decente, solito pane raffermo, il dolce era lo stesso della cena. Le stanze erano ok, l'unica stanza ad avere la vasca a grandezza umana era la suite, ma la moquette andrebbe pulita più frequentemente (era troppo polverosa). Da portarsi la mascherina per gli occhi perché ci sono tende di carta velina nelle stanze, e I tappi per le orecchie perché il fiume fuori si sente la notte. Internet via cavo, da portare da casa, c'e' il wifi ma non funziona. Insomma, non consiglierei a nessuno di stare nella Penzion Boka, a Bovec (centro paese) c'e' sicuramente di meglio ed e' più comodo Bad choice. Staff halfhearted. no communication of services and choices. Dinners with no choice of dishes, in practice they chose what we had to eat, no preferences asked or worse, regardless of whether we had food allergies or intolerances, and they were mostly pre-cooked meals, from the package to the plate, stale bread, salads with huge leaves and no other vegetables (was it so difficult to put a tomato in it?).

Keine Sauna im Hotel!

Posto tranquillo, di recente costruzione, personale cordiale e disponibile. Un oasi di pace con amipio parcheggio, buona e variegata la colazione, cena nella media! Consigliatissimo

Wir wurden mit unserer Gruppe von 12 Personen sehr gut von den Mitarbeitern versorgt. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen in der Pension war in Ordnung. Preis-Leistung der Speisen und Getränke TOP!!!!! Von unsere gebuchten Suite hatte wir einen fantastischen Blick auf die Berge. Vielleicht im Sommer irgendwann noch einmal zum Rafting oder Mountainbiken.

Die Kommunikation unter den Mitarbeitern scheint nicht ganz zu funktionieren. Ebenso wurden am 1. Januar die Zimmer nur notdürftig gereinigt. Das Personal war scheinbar überfordert mit der Abreisewelle zu Neujahr und der Silvesterparty in der Nacht.

Albergo nuovo e moderno..eventuale cena e/o pranzo a menù fisso 9€..posizione tranquilla a 10minuti dal centro..la camera (suite) spaziosa e con idromassaggio!

Unico appunto..Al 2o piano non arriva la connessione wifi ma solo via cavo

Muy agradable, bastante nuevo y muy funcional. En el campo junto a una increible cascada y el rio Soca. Limpio, personal muy atento y agradable y excelente desayuno. Muy buena relacion calidad/precio. Para no perderselo si vais por la zona que es preciosa.

Es wurde nicht geputzt, das Badezimmer wurde in 4 Tagen nicht einmal geputzt
