Penzion Vila Prešeren  

No llegamos a hospedarnos en el hotel porque la habitación asignada no cumplía con las condiciones contratadas. En concreto, había reservado habitación doble con vistas al lago y me daban un apartamento en la planta baja con vistas al tejado de la cafetería. Nos negamos a aceptarla y el personal de hotel con una gran amabilidad nos puso en contacto con el servicio de gestión hotelera de Bled y nos cambiaron la reserva por otra en el Hotel Vila Bled con vistas la lago.

La falta de seriedad en la asignación de habitaciones. Si no fuera por la eficacia del servicio de gestión hotelera de Bled la estancia habría sido un fracaso. Es inaceptable que un hotel mienta en los tipos de habitaciones o no mantenga las reservas comprometidas.

Excellent friendly service, great location, great accommodation. We enjoyed every moment there. Highly recommended place to stay. Excellent food.

I like their location, food and staff. They were so friendly especially Goran who put his best efforts to make our stay pleasurable. The food is excellent but little bit pricey. And location is just 5 meters from lake so you can enjoy your stay.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The scenery roundabout is just amazing and the air so clean and fresh. If this is a touch of heaven then bring it on. The hotel is small but then you get that personal touch that you lack in some of the larger hotels. Choice of dinner menu very limited but everything we got was delicious, well flavoured and cooked to perfection with generous helpings. On our three night stay the little we sent back on our plates was only because we had way too much and did not want to spoil the effects. Our waiter Elvir spoke very good English, was pleasant, polite and very helpful. We would definitely return here again and would be our first choice for dining as not only was food good but well priced for the area. Breakfast was ample and even though scrambled eggs were not on the menu, they were only too happy to make them for me each morning. If you have a car or bike then it is worth a visit to Radovljica which is only about 6kms outside Bled. It is a very pretty little village and reasonably priced for a coffee in the square.

Our room was very clean and comfortable as was the king sized bed. The decor was pleasant but had it been lighter in colour could have brightened the room up. The large dark wardrobe did not help either as did the narrow window. It could also have done with a small table of some sort along the back wall which could have been used if you wanted to sit and have a drink in the room or play a game of cards. These are very minor details and did not detract from our enjoyment especially as we were out and about so much exploring the beautiful country.

What a wonderful hotel! We settled on Villa Preseren from the pictures on the Booking.com web site and its location and we were not dissapointed! The hotel boasted a huge back deck right on the shores of Lake Bled, tastefully decorated rooms, modern bathrooms, made-to-order breakfasts, gourmet cuisine and excellent wifi. The location is perfect where you can park your car at the hotel and walk anywhere in Bled. Overall and excellent stay!

The only down side to our stay was the noise. Due to the thin walls, old stairs that creak, thumping night club in the vicinity and the neighboring church bells that rang every 15 minutes, we had a hard time sleeping the first night. Thanks to a pair of ear plugs, the problem was resolved the next evening.

The location was fantastic, right by the lake and just a short walk to the town. Staff were friendly and the restaurant was superb.

No reception as such. What looked like the reception door was locked and you had to go around to the restaurant to check in which was a little strange. One of our rooms was also quite small and bathrooms a little dated.

Bled is an amazing place and vila Preseren is a wonderful place to stay in bled. It is a renovated villa that dates back to '800 and it is right on the lake shore. Rooms, overlooking the lake or the park around are furnished in a modern, stylish but warm style, and they're very confortable and clean. There's a small parking available, included in the room rate, which is a very good feature because it is impossible to park for free in Bled. You can choose among different breakfast styles, from croissants to full american breakfast and in summer you can enjoy it on the lakeshore - which is just great. They also have a restaurant that offers a blend of traditional and creative dishes, we tried it one evening and the food was fine.

Our room had a balcony overlooking the lake, but being on the first floor the view was partly obstructed by the wooden structures of the restaurant - probably rooms on the second floor are better under this respect.

The position of the hotel is great, right on the lake side with a really good restaurant. Spacious rooms, with great welcoming staff. We had a great time.
