The perfect location for a stay in Bled. The Preseren sits right on the lake with a view across. We checked in with no problem in the restaurant and were taken to our very nice corner room. Yes, the restaurant canopy can impeded part of the view, but not enough to worry about. We walked the lakeside, to the castle, and the boats to the church island were footsteps away. Our room was modern, and very comfortable, and parking was just in front.

The rooms are a bit small.

It has a stunning location,modern clean facilities ,great menu and very professional and friendly staff.we very much enjoyed our time there and will return.

Location is superb. Staff friendly but couteous.

A lounge area away from the dining room would be better.

Really good service, relaxed and accomodating staff. The half board (romantic) option was very inexpensive and made the stay really easy and relaxing. Great views from the terrace, and really well positioned in the centre of Bled.

Some choice of different dishes included with the half board would have been good. The food was lovely but sometimes not quite what we would have ordered.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The scenery roundabout is just amazing and the air so clean and fresh. If this is a touch of heaven then bring it on. The hotel is small but then you get that personal touch that you lack in some of the larger hotels. Choice of dinner menu very limited but everything we got was delicious, well flavoured and cooked to perfection with generous helpings. On our three night stay the little we sent back on our plates was only because we had way too much and did not want to spoil the effects. Our waiter Elvir spoke very good English, was pleasant, polite and very helpful. We would definitely return here again and would be our first choice for dining as not only was food good but well priced for the area. Breakfast was ample and even though scrambled eggs were not on the menu, they were only too happy to make them for me each morning. If you have a car or bike then it is worth a visit to Radovljica which is only about 6kms outside Bled. It is a very pretty little village and reasonably priced for a coffee in the square.

Our room was very clean and comfortable as was the king sized bed. The decor was pleasant but had it been lighter in colour could have brightened the room up. The large dark wardrobe did not help either as did the narrow window. It could also have done with a small table of some sort along the back wall which could have been used if you wanted to sit and have a drink in the room or play a game of cards. These are very minor details and did not detract from our enjoyment especially as we were out and about so much exploring the beautiful country.

The view was amazingly breathtakingly gorgeous!!! It was more than I could ever hope for! My friends & I squealed with delight when we went inside our very spacious rooms with high ceilings. It was very clean & housekeeping was excellent. The lake was just 2 minutes walk from our room. There was a nice boat that could take around 10-15 people across the lake...There were 3 choices for breakfast, all very tasty & filling. The staff were very efficient, friendly & saw to everything down to the last detail. I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends. Thank you Vila Preseren for a wonderful holiday. We will be back!!!

Cannot find any faults with this hotel. It is in a very good location for public transport and very close to the high street to restaurants & shops.

The restaurant/bar facilities were nice - modern. The service staff were efficient. Views from the restaurant deck were beautiful and it was convenient to everything in Bled.

Rooms were extremely noisy the first night. Our room's window looked out to a deck where people were talking until very late. The carpeting was dirty, although the decor was fine.

Our room was beautifully decorated and the hotel is well situated on Lake Bled.

It was difficult to get in touch with the staff - it seems like some of the restaurant staff are able to work with hotel guests and some aren't.

Great location and facilities, tho staff should pay bit more attention to guests, not only on the restaurant.

Very little attention paid at check-in. Felt a bit like bothering the staff

The location was fantastic, right by the lake and just a short walk to the town. Staff were friendly and the restaurant was superb.

No reception as such. What looked like the reception door was locked and you had to go around to the restaurant to check in which was a little strange. One of our rooms was also quite small and bathrooms a little dated.

A very friendly and comfortable hotel. Certainly a place to recommend
