good wifi, staff trying to be as helpful as possible in a difficult working environment. 24 hours reception.
Smoking is allowed inside so all of the rooms smell of old sour smoke. The beds were very uncomfortable, and right next door is the maintenance station for the busses in Ljubljana. There is constant very loud traffic the entire night, backing of busses with the following super loud "beeeeep", and just very difficult to sleep at all. Our first room really smelled super bad, when we laid down the mattress started to smell really strong. We got to transfer to another room, where one of the beds didn't even have the top mattress on... It didn't smell as bad, but the traffic noises were worse.
Furniture and phonic isolation.
It was clean and the staff was very nice.
Very noisy because of the street. Poor ventilation lets out all kinds of weird smells, from cheap perfume to cigarette. When you check in, the receptionist gives you a key to the public toilets/showers and recommends to lock yourself in when you're in there. I'm not surprised, there was a lot of creepy old men in the building...
