“ Nice hotel in a village near Maribor, close to the highway. We stayed on the way from Italy to Ukraine, but I would gladly come back to spend the holidays and enjoy the local wine. Very attentive and friendly host, a delicious rustic breakfast, reasonable price. Highly recommended. ”

We liked almost all! There was no Internet in the room, just downstairs by the entrance, very bad signal for wireless.

The host immediately greeted us on our arrival and was very helpful and regularly checked if all was OK. Breakfast was great. Home made ham and cheese was delicious. There is also a great selection of cereals, yoghurts coffee etc. The apartment was fantastic. Set on 2 floors it was very cosy and comfortable, as well as spacious. The location is perfect if you've got a car. It's set out in the countryside up the quiet hills with nothing but farms and farmlands in sight. Perfect for walking our dogs along some quiet paths. Maribor is 10 minutes drive away if you need to grab some food or groceries.

Owner very friendly. Pleasant trusting environment. Insufficient hot water supply. Wifi didn't reach the rooms, only reliable in restaurant. Breakfast was acceptable at best.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. It was situated in the mountains with lovely views of the vineyards. The owner was very friendly and cordial. The food at the hotel restaurant was excellent. Wine tasting was available at its vineyard. I would definitely recommend Tourist Farm Joannes.

Very good price, owner speak well in english, very good breakfast, you can pay by credit card. Rooms very quiet and comfortable. We wrote on booking that we will be late, the owner waited for us and called to us. If you have good navigation system you will get with no problems.

Stopped twice on the way to Croatia and back. Very nice, quiet place. The rooms are clean, comfortable, fast speed internet. Friendly hosts. Excellent wine.A delicious home-cooked breakfast, incredible beauty of the landscape.Find a farm is not easy, but possible, friendly locals suggested the road. Для будущих посетителей: ориентиром для поворота к ферме является пиццерия-мотель Черный Барон, от него налево, далее все время держаться правее, поднимаясь в гору. Далее внимательно смотреть на указатели.

The whole atmosphere was great and it offered great scenery,too. The place looked quite new, and it seems that the owners have done a lot to make it ready for guests. The location is accessible only by car and you have to drive about 2 km up the hill in a country road. it is not good news especially if you have driven long and feel dead tired!

Nice hotel. Good location if you travel by car. We got plesan room with two floors what was really interesting. Plesant owners wait us half hour after oficial check in.

Excellent place to stay in the lovely vineyards on the hills just outside of Maribor! Our studio was very comfortable and quiet. The owner Gregor is extremely friendly and helpful. The 4 Euro breakfast was delicious, including delicious homemade smoked ham and homemade jams, among many other tasty things. Too bad we didn't stay long enough for a dinner and a wine tasting!
