The owner is really nice and helpful. The rooms and comfortable and quite big.

The room was spacious and very clean, the managers very nice and helpful, the location was good and the breakfast, delicious.

We stayed in P&A Gasperin last year - it was wondeful. And this year we stayed here again - we knew we got the high rank service. Very nice & customer oriented staff, large & comfortable room; lovely breakfast; free parking & free wi-fi; ski storage room. Location is fine - very close to the lake, supermarket, to Vogel ski center. Reasonable price.

The hotel was fantastic, clean the location is a few minute walk to the lake, you have a very reasonable supermarket. The bathroom, kitchen facilities are clean and handy, and the staff are very helpful. We were a couple, and found perfect, if you are family it would also be great. Bohinj location is far greater than bled in my opinion

It was a really nice independent family run aprt/hotel surrounded by fantastic countryside. The owners were friendly and helpful but happy to leave you alone as well. Very good self catering facilities, and all the fixtures and fittings were brand new, spotless, and of really good quality.

Excellent value for money in great location. Spotless room with lovely big bathroom and beautiful views. Bikes for hire, very cheap and easy. Location is fantastic, ten minute walk to the village/ town area and yet very peaceful. Would highly recommend staying here!

We ventured to Slovenia in late June through early July and stayed in 4 different places. Our favorite place to stay was here at Pension & Apartments Gasperin. When we arrived, there was plenty of parking and were greeted quickly by the owners. Both owners were very pleasant and concerned about what they could do to make our stay more pleasant. We checked in, settled down and then made our way to discover Bohinj Lake and the surroundings. The owners gave us a map and spent about 20 minutes with us, detailing out places to see based on our preferences. They gave us excellent hiking suggestions as well as good dining choices. We took on most of their suggestions and always ended up happy. The room was comfortable and clean and the bathroom was very clean, modern and functional. We had plenty of closet space and an open balcony toward the Alps and lake side. The TV was nice, we didn't use it very often though as we were out and about in the villages around us. The breakfast dining area is nice and we had a nice selection of meat, cheese, cereal, eggs, bread and sweets along with coffee, juices and teas. We were asked if we wanted a made to order omelet but we declined...however, just their asking made it special! Starting your day in a warm and family environment with good food and great hosts is always a great way to start a day while on holiday. We had only booked for two nights but wanted to stay another night. We asked but they said they were booked. Then a few hours later, they mentioned we could stay in a room that was close to being renovated, all that was missing was a TV. We accepted their offer, stayed another night and enjoyed our new room just as much as the previous room, didn't miss the TV at all. Wi-Fi worked fine, not any issues whatsoever. As for location and cost, we couldn't ask for anything better. We were within 10 minutes walk to Lake Bohinj and driving to other villages and points of interest were always within 15 minutes drive.

The only thing I can think of is we needed two remotes to operate the TV. Didn't really bother us as we didn't use the TV all that much, but I can see where it might be annoying to some folks.

A great pension run by a family, they were very friendly and helpful and always there for us. Nice comfortable apartment, new and clean, with a balcony facing the forest, very peaceful and quiet, fully-equipped kitchen. The hotel also has a nice terrace facing Alps, which is great for watching sunset with a glass of wine. Free wi-fi. Excellent location - 3 minutes walk from the lake and the center (supermarket, tourist info,post office). The atmosphere in the pension was very warm, that of a family, makes you feel home. Warmly recommended.

The apartment was very close to Lake Bohijn and was clean and comfortable. The staff spoke English and there was a very helpful binder full of ideas for things to do.

The room was a little warm with no real way to cool it down.

The staff was very intelligent and helpful. The hotel is located at the center of a very scenic area. The room was simple, comfortable and and modern. The breakfasts included local waffles, pancakes and eggs cooked to order.

On a scale from 0 to 10, my wife and I would give Pension & Apartments Gasperin a 12. No, make that a 15. We have been traveling for one month in the area and stayed in some very nice places. But never did we stay anywhere better than Pension & Apartments Gasperin. What a delight. And what wonderful hosts Peter and Kelly were. One day we will most certainly return for a longer stay at Pension & Apartments Gasperin.

A lovely place to stay with very pleasant and helpful owners, the lady of the house is English so no language problems at all!

The worst thing I can say is that the very nice bathroom lacked an exhaust fan

The proprietors were very friendly and helpful. The location was superb with wonderful views from the balcony. Breakfast was very good and our room was very clean and the beds very comfortable. Will come back and recommend it to our friends.
