Considering the number of people staying, they only have 3 shower rooms available. All were very clean and during the time we stayed, we had no problem. But if it's fully booked, there might be an issue of morning dampness and shower queue. But all in all, we loved our stay there.
Awesome stay! We arrived at 14.45 and the receptionist were close but the pub helped us to let them know that we wanted to check in. The couple who welcomed us were in fact the owner of the hostel. They're charming and very knowledgable. Informed us everything we need to know about the city, including the subculture and things that might not be on the tourist's radar.
We stayed at Ray Charles room which was a loft. It succeeded in accomplishing the difficult task of creating a charming dorm room. The rooms are effectively arranged, spacious in between beds (no bunk beds in this one), used mostly IKEA furniture, and the room had natural lights(!) You get towels and key lock for lockers.
The hostel's pub was the first thing people would notice when they first came, and was one of the first pub in the city. A lot of locals came by which adds a great feeling to the pub, we made great conversations with the locals and the bartender was really pleasant and engaging to customers. We spent almost every night at the pub.
The city's definitely our best stop this trip. The combination of great city, locals we met, and the hostel we stayed made us extended our stay.
