Excellent welcome and lovely place to stay

Central location in Piran, worth the extra cost for the seaside-facing rooms with balcony. Outstanding staff, very pleasant and accommodating. Free wi-fi for 5 days. No frills room but crisp linens on comfortable bed and view of Adriatic is best feature.

Piran doesn't have any parking available. None. Parking is in a garage at the top of a hill above Piran, cost 15 euros/day. This is not Hotel Tartini's fault but it does require more time and planning to walk 10-15 minutes or wait for the complimentary shuttle.

Central location

Room was not clean and was not well maintained (it was not possible simply close any door - the only possibility was to lock the door to keep them closed.) We complaint, but we did not get another room, we did not get any reasonable discount (just 7,5 EUR discount - from 140 EUR price).

Location was excellent and all the staff extremely friendly and helpful, even tolerating our dreadful attempts at Slovenian. They answered all or questions patiently and with great knowledge - they truly were the stars of the show. We did not ask the name of the more mature lady who was in charge of the breakfast room, but she was absolutely fantastic - friendly, helpful and wonderfully accommodating with our requests.

The staff was friendly and it was very nice for them to pack us a breakfast on our last morning as we were leaving very early.

The hotel was in a fantasic location ion the centre of piran. All of the staff were very kind and welcoming, David in particular was brilliant. The beakfast was great and the rooms were clean and comfortable. A really nice place to stay.

The carpet needed cleaning or replacing..

The staff was excellent. Very helpful with our requests and attentive to our needs. I left a jacket in our room when we departed and it was sent to my home within a few days. The location of the hotel is also excellent. Set on the lovely main plaza it is in the center of the city and an easy walk to Piran's beautiful sights.

Superb location right on the square. A gem of a small hotel, recently apparently renovated.

Difficult to find at first. Hotel or booking.com needs to provide better directions and, specifically, where to look for the hotel's sign.

Excellent location on the main square and close to the water.

Some reveller noise from nearby bars which could be worse during high season.

Location was excellent! Reception personnel was very helpfull. Breakfast was perfect and the staff of kitchen was friendly.

Bed covers were not very clean and they did'nt change them for a week.

The location is great, our room had a great view on Tartini square. Breakfast was really abundant and with quality food. Hotel staff was very kind and professional.

You cannot come into Piran by car and you have to take a (free) bus for going into the centre of the town, with the luggages is not so confortable

it's location on Tartini square.

It's too expensive . It's a medium range hotel at a price of a five star hotel. We were excited by the idea of having dinner on the roof terrace. The day we come there was a wedding reception on both terraces and we were not allowed to access both terraces. The hotel did not offered us any kind of compensation. I asked for new batteries for the TV's remote control and they told me there was nothing they can do because it was Sunday.

The reception staff were great. I booked for the wrong date and they were able to accommodate us in any case at the same price. The included breakfast was excellent. The location of the hotel overlooking the city square was excellent.
