Terme Snovik thermal and wellness centre is situated only 30 km from Ljubljana and 9 km from Kamnik, in the Tuhinj valley.

In the heart of Kamnik-Savinja Alps, in the midst of nature, this Alpine thermal centre presents a unique experience for an active or relaxing break. Away from everyday stresses and obligations, you will cleanse body and mind, breathe in fresh air, recharge your energy and increase optimism. There are tempting opportunities for strolls and bike rides through enchanting meadows, past fields and orchards, through forests and over the neighbouring hills and peaks of the Velika Planina and Menina Planina mountain plateaus. After such a trek, you can enjoy relaxation in a thermal pool, sauna or with a massage, amongst friends and hospitable hosts.

Hotel information

Terme Snovik is the youngest Slovene thermal centre. However, the thermal water source, near the idyllic village of Snovik, has held the attention of the locals for centuries. The thermal water was used for therapeutic purposes of relieving pain and remedying various health problems. These healing properties were later on confirmed by many studies, which concluded that the thermal water at Snovik is a source of good health and well-being. The water is clean and pure, rich in calcium and magnesium, and suitable for swimming, massages, drinking and various therapy procedures. Thermal facility with additional services opened in 2001.

Food & beverage

Restaurant Potočka operates within the pool facility, offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, refreshing beverages, fresh salads, trout dishes and various a la carte dishes. We prepare healthy meals for all tastes.

Room information

Modern furnished apartments are situated within the cooling shadow of a forest and offer a beautiful view of the outside pool facility. These apartments are equipped according to 4-star standards. Besides apartments, the hotel also offers half-board accommodation (this offer includes breakfast and dinner). The largest apartment features a bedroom, modern kitchen with a living area and a bathroom. Guests can choose between rental or half-board accommodation.

Nice pool

We stayed on a Monday. A lot of the services – massage, etc – were not available. The rooms can be noisy.

Sehr schöne neue Zimmer/Häuser, tolle Freizeiteinrichtungen mit Frei- und Hallenbad, Fahrrad und Wanderwege, sehr schöne Lage. Gutes Essen.Live-Musik abends 1-2/wo.Freundliche mehrsprachige Mitarbeiter.

Handtücherwechsel und Zimmerreinigung erst nach 7Tagen Aufenthalt und 2maligem Vorsprechen an Rezeption. Mangel an Sitzplätzen und Geschirr beim Frühstück.Entfernung Ljubljana-City 31km, nicht 24km wie angegeben

Lage, Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Mitarbeiter

Gefunden habe ich das Hotel über einen link auf der Webseite des Flughafen Ljubljana, in der dieses Hotel als "Hotel mit Shuttleservice" benannt wird. Es ist aber kein Shuttleservice verfügbar.
