Turizem Loka Bed and Breakfast  

A nice place. The proprietor was welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was very good indeed and tea was available at all times.

The stuff is very friendly, hospitable and professional. You need no tourist information office: in the hotel you can get all information about Slovenia, bus/ railway timetable, as well as maps and leaflets. The room is very clean and the bathroom is new refurbished, large and comfortable. The hotel is situated in a very quiet area. Just a neighbour's cock crowed every morning. Someone doesn't like it but I do. There is a bus station (not bus stop) in 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

The hotel Manager was extremely welcoming and kind. All facilities were clean. I would stay there again.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean. For breakfast, you can try a domestic products ( milk, eggs, bacon, sausage etc) which are very tasty. Definitely recommend this accommodation!!!!

not easy to find the location of the hotel at night. (the area is dark & the direction signs are not seeing well)

The hosts: Sasha and her husband are just wonderful! The place itself is great: we loved the rooms, kitchen, bath, etc. Rooms upstairs are great for kids! The location, the little towns of Stara Loka and Sofja Loka are very nice, and are very central so the almost anywhere in Slovenia can be reached in an hour drive: I would make this place my base for all vacations in Slovenia!

Very family friendly hotel. The owners strive to personally make sure you are comfortable. They accomodated our very large family with kindness and grace. The facilities are well cared for and clean. Breakfast was good and the area is beautiful. This is an ideal location to stay as you travel anywhere in Slovenia.

You folks were fabulous. i will highly recomment your place to others. it felt like home away from home... We so enjoyed our trip... i hope to return with my family to explore my roots at some point. Friendly owners, impressive breakfast, perfect location (walking distance from old town Skofja Loka and short drive to Ljubljana), good bed.

Shower was very small and hallway rather noisy.

Our three days at Turizem Loka Bed and Breakfast was wonderful. Sasha was incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and spacious.

We could not stay longer and had to leave because of our plans. Everything was wonderful.

Very comfortable accommodation with breakfast and WiFi included in the price. Within walking distance of some very good and affordable restaurants. Excellent owners who are multi-lingual, helpful, and very knowledgeable. Cannot fault this 4-year old guest house. (If you stay here, you can learn about a midden first hand!)

Very warm welcome. Large car park, offered cold drink on arrival. Given very large room on ground floor. Room double bed, single bed and bunks, there’s only 2 of us!! Ac working and very good, very large tv with a lot of English channels. Free Wi-Fi and a well-stocked mini bar. Excellent shower with hair dryer. Take your own towels, they are a bit rough and need some softener plus the large ones had a slight smell but this is the only fault. The owner offers a map of the area and she will tell you the best places to eat. We walked up to the church and the food was excellent the breakfast is wonderful, usual plus a choice of eggs and bacon boiled or scrambled eggs. It’s a solid 2 star only because of the lack of a restraint, which would put it up to 3 or 4 stars.

Everything is perfect. The location, the rooms, the breakfast and of course, the nice owners. The woman in charge is always there to help you whatever you need. It's a very good location for visiting all Slovenia, so it's just in the center. We really recommend it.

The only bad thing was leaving.

An excellent spotlessly clean establishment with very friendly and helpful hosts.Bedroom/bathroom facilities were excellent,the breakfast provided was also of a high standard with a large and plentiful variety of bread,rolls,cold meats,cheeses,home made jams etc.The owner even offered to cook my wife and I an omlette or scrambled eggs.The premises has ample parking space and is in a lovely setting surrounded by fruit trees with views over the hills to the mountains.There is a ten minute walk into the centre of Skofja Loka,with its historic buildings,and,a number of restaurants.It is about 25 minute drive to the national capital,Ljubljana.An excellent place to stay for a weekend or as a stopover.

In one word : outstanding ! The people of this B&B are so friendy, always there for any help or advises for beautyfull trips or good restaurants. The accomodation is very clean, airconditioning on the room,enough wardrobes, enough parking possibilities It is located in a quiet hamlet in the vicinity of the beautyfull village of Skofja Loka ( (5 minutes walk ); Breakfast is widespread, with additional fresh prepared eggs. We enjoyed ourselfs. In a score they deserves a 10/10.

Great breakfast (Sasha would always be happy to make you Ham and eggs or sausages), wonderful accomodation (very fresh and clean), Sasha couldn't be more helpful providing us with maps and information. Only accomodation I've ever stayed where the guests were given a good-bye gift! Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

There weren't that many resteraunts in the area, but the few that were open were excellent and great value for money.

Very friendly staff, the two bedroom appartment is spacious, clean, and relatively new. Free WiFi and parking. Within walking distance from city centre of Skofja Loka, super market, ATM and bus station (45 min bus ride to Ljubljana city centre).

Nice family pension, very friendly staff, breakfast also from farm products. Parking at the pension for free, bus station is nearby. Practical location - from Skofja Loka you can travel both to Bled-Bohinj and to Ljubljana and caves.

Excellent choice for a stay in Skofje Loka. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Situated in a cute village 400m from the medieval old town.
