We didn't have hot water in the evening of our arrival when we were in desperate need for a hot shower. When having called the duty manager/owner? around 11:30 (there was no staff on duty at the property) he was reluctant to acknowledge- and to try to solve the problem or come to the location, he said he was out of town. As I was trying to reach him over and over again, he ended the calls or rejected my calls, referring to the late hour. In the morning, he acknowledged that the switch was broken to the boiler, but when we asked for a compensation for this inconvenience, he implicated that we only invented the story so we could get a discount (!) (in effect that we were lying). After that, he changed his tactic and said: "But it's working now" (!). After some verbal fighting, he gave us a 30% discount (which after such an ordeal we initially didn't want to accept but he insisted) and free parking.
However good product for money this facility is, there is definitely room for improvement in terms of custormer relationship management in this property!
The location was great, we received a spacious apartment overlooking the harbour and the sea, with a stunning view. The apartment was of good quality and well equipped.
