WIFI did not work, although it should have, in theory - however this may be easily due to my phone settings only. Walk to Piran is nice, but walk to Portoroz is a little dangerous, as there is no pavement beside the roads. These are only to aware of, i would not say these are "negative" at all.
Nice house and room. Beautiful view and altogether a very nice location. The owner is a good guy. I recommend this place to stay at. A nice 30-40 mins walk to Piran through the hill and olive trees with beautiful view on the sea. Portoroz is approx 20 mins walk down the hill. Back is a little bit more time, but for us it was good, especially after dinner and before sleep. And of course you can always go by car and take a bus which stops 30 meters from the house.

Strongly recommend these appartments if you have a car and GPS unless you are very fit or a Heath nut. The appartments were not supervised (there was no reception that I saw). So you had to ring the owner with your own mobile .. Fine if you have global roaming or Solvenia SIM card.
View was surprisingly good panoramic of Portoroz and the bay to Piran. Modern design, rooms were clean. Free parking. Nice bath room. With a big TV but we were only there overnight and din't even turn it on. And lastly but important a WiFi that worked.

Lack of cooking utensils if you want to self-cater
View Spacious apartment Bathroom Balcony Air-con Parking Short drive down hill to Lucija to park car for free (then cheap bus between there and Piran)

A little lack of privacy on terrace, access to coast only by car.
Clean modern apartment with fantastic view over the city and sea, big terrace, nice staff, peace.

No dedicated footpath all the way towards the city centre.
Balcony view over Portoroz gives nice views. Apartment is modern contemporary single bedroom apartment. Only 5 minutes walk to reach the Portoroz promenade.

It is located above noisy road and if you dont like to use car every day (and pay parking fees) it is not choice for you. If you dont mind this, you won't be disappointed.
Apartments are new and nice, the view is also very nice.

We were unable to get into city without car - missing pavements and heavy traffic (poor infrastructure)
Great view, free parking

There was a road construction, and we must use a mountain road, which was a littlebit scarry
The panorama and the apartman

We were not shown how to work the cooker, dishwasher or air conditioning. we weren't told that there was a laundry room downstairs ( which was actually locked for a large part of the time). the kitchen was not well equipped - no dinner plates, only 3 side plates, no cooking utensils. Finally - the place needed a good sweeping and dusting - there were cobwebs all over the place and dead moths etc under the couch and bed.
Location, perched above the town - it is within walking distance (bit of a slog back up the hill though) and easy driving distance. The balcony is lovely and the view is beautiful

Rooms would be cleaner. Location directly above main and very noisy street (bed room is ok because is situated on the other side to other residencies). Only 2 plates in the kitchen (generally the kitchen would be equiped better). A/c was out of order all days of our stay. Too much moskitos.
New modern equipment of apartment but would be cleaner. Nice view on the sea. Parking for free. Wifi.

The land lord was very helpful - he picked us up and dropped us at a suitable point as there was some difficulty in reaching (construction work in the neighbourhood) There's also a washing machine in the basement - it's perfect for living.

The railing might be dangerous when you have overactive children. It's easy to climb and there's a 10m fall on the other side. The kitchenette could use just a bit more cutlery and perhaps the biggest drawback - a cleaning lady was nowhere to be seen during our 9 nights of stay. But it was not dirty nor musty when we arrived, so we just had to keep it clean ourselves.
A new, modern style building, located on a hill overviewing Portoroz bay. And the location is the main advantage and disadvantage. The view is nothing short of fantastic. To get to the town center however, you need to have a car, as the busy road that leads there lacks both sidewalk and an emergency lane. But being able to have a breakfast on the terrace with such a stunning view is worth this small discomfort. And if you want an afternoon stroll, you can go uphill and explore the surrounding hills that are resemblant of Tuscany. The building itself is modern with glass-walled upfront, light but cosy flats. I do not usually like the modern style, but here everything worked perfectly together. The sofa was very comfortable, the bathroom correctly equipped and the kitchenette is vital to saving some money on restaurants. The wi-fi worked without any problems. All in all one of the best places we've been to, both in terms of location and the flat itself.
