Hotel in need of upgrading.

The staff was very kind and polite, prepared to offer all necessary touristic information (in english and italian, too). Vodisek is very good situated, very colse to the rail station and bus station and 5 minutes (really!) by pass to all shoping centers and hypermarkets. Also, to the historic center of the city, only 10 minutes by pass. Breakfast was complete, various and more than sufficient. For me, was a perfect hotel, in a perfect town, from a perfect country !

You can walk to the old center, less than 1 km. Nice room with good aircon and view on the hills (superior room, single). Free parking ans wifi in the room. Friendly

Friendly staf, very good location & clean rooms. Przyjazna obsługa, bardzo dobra lokalizacja, czyste pokoje.

The hotel was quite easy to find. Don't judge it from the outside because the rooms inside are lovely. Very spacious and clean. Friendly staff on reception and free wifi.

Couldn't get any hot water

Professional English speaking staff. Early check-in (9:00) and late check-out (14:00) as per my request. Strategic location (walking distance): 10 min away from train/bus station and 5 min to the old city. Nice, plain, fresh buffet breakfast in the lovely hotel restaurant.City maps and tourist information available at reception desk.

Hotel Vodisek handles trials with triumphs: When there was no hot water, an electrician came asap. He found only a circuit breaker and fixed that easily. We were dirty in the pm, but got showers in the am. When wireless did not work for us, they brought a cable. When our luggage was delayed for 3 days, they accepted delivery and kept it til we awoke in the am. When there was a problem with the restaurant, they corrected his problems. When we left our computer cord through no fault of theirs, they graciously sent it to us at their expense. We do not know how to reward them, but we will try! The staff and owners went out of their way to help us in all ways. We have never met nicer people than those in Slovenia. We hope they will feel that way about our country in return. We are so grateful!

The restaurant owner inside the hotel (who rents from the hotel) needs a vast improvement in his attitude and the way he does business. He would not take our order the way we ordered it, but doubled the order, added things, and then charged us more than double the price. However, the hotel manager later refunded half the bill for us. She was extremely nice.
