Very friendly and helpful staff in reception, restaurant and cafe/bar.Well equipped bedroom & bathroom.Very quiet hotel.Good efficient a/c. Outdoor patio good bonus. A wonderful experience.Will be back!!!

Location price and lovely place

No changing facilities for babies once we had checked out.

Everything was fine. There were no little things to disturb my stay but the expensive parking.

The parking is extreemly expensive: 20EUR per night. That taking in consideration that I was a hotel guest.

What's not to like?

Lover the room , very comfortable bed, excellent shower, great location 10mins to the centre so close to bars etc, lovely hotel bar , friendly staff willing to give advice, great value would stay here again, effective room air conditioning

The hotel itself looks like a 4 star, well decorated hall, good looking rooms. But stop here, that's it, everything else is a chep 2 star hotel level.

Let's start from the very beginning. I come to check in at 13:40 and the room is not ready, ok no problem I can wait 14:00. Since I parked in front of the reception I asked the lady if I can park there and it is free parking or not. In horrible english she told me she didn't know for sure (which is pretty unbelievable since the parking is in front of the hotel). 5 minutes later a family goes for check in and ask the same question about parking. So there must be thousands of people asking the same question in one year. How come they don't know ??? Then I understood it is a miserable way to try and sell their private parking. Very unprofessional. Btw at 2 pm having not heard anything about my room I went asking about. The lady, very unprofessionally again, said she needed to call the cleaning staff to check. Was she waiting me to ask ??? I went back sitting again. Then she called me and told me the room was ready. I took the 2 room keys and I noticed the name on the card holder was not mine, she had given me the wrong keys. I was asked again my id for the second time and a guy handled the check in for the second time as the lady said she hadn't saved my information before (nice). The room itself looked good, but under the bed there was dirt, and most of all the bed was very unconfortable having wheels (for some unknown reasons) that made the bed move at night everytime we moved. Then the sheets smelled smoke even if our room was no-smoking. They must be so smart to use the same covers and sheets for both kinds of rooms. I tried to ask a power-adapter for my laptop, I was told they would let me know later but never heard back. I have been in hotels all around the world and this is not a 4 star hotel. You should expect at least decent- english from staff, let alone some smiles and kindness. The blonde lady at reception was not able to communicate at all, and looked like bored and careless. Too bad because this ruins the whole experience.

Design, nice and clean, new, staff, room condition.

Location is not the most ideal. A little bit far from city center. Most tourists coming to Bratislava spend a very short time and may need to manage with logistics.

A fantastic hotel which was absolutely spotlessly clean. Location was excellent in the heart of Bratislava. Will definitely return.

Well designed clean modern rooms. Good sound-proofing with double doors to the corridor. Walking distance of the old town as well as the railway station. Would stay at Abba again.

Not enough personal on the reception.

The staff at the hotel were fabulous; especially Robi in the restaurant. The room was spacious and comfortable. Parking in the garage was convenient and reasonably priced. The hotel is within an easy walk to the Old Town and plenty of shops and restaurants. Bratislava is a great little city.

12 Euro per person for breakfast was a little steep. But there is a small grocery store about two blocks away, so we ate in most days.

I asked for a room not at the side of the road or close to the elevator. I got a room not close to the road but right in front of the elevator. The door between the corridor and elevator (3rd floor) bangs quite loudly, so I could hear that in my room (quite annoying). Since there is an extra door in the room, it wasn't as bad as it could be, but still, I could hear it.

Our room was a beautiful, spacious and comfortable family room. It was quiet and overlooked the lovely grounds of the Presidential Palace - which looked wonderful covered in snow. The staff at reception were also helpful.

Breakfast was not included in our rate (and was expensive at 12 Euro a person), so we found cafes to have a light breakfast in. It would have been much more convenient to have breakfast in the hotel, as the cafes were not that close.

In the room 111 there's a lot of noise of water, back the mobile just to enter on the right side, have alredy advised the reception.

They did extra charge for 2 hour late check out.
