Hotel Arcadia

We were looked after from the minute we arrived until the minute we left. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I enjoyed having a fresh cooked breakfast alongside a small buffet rather than the mass produced breakfasts served in many big hotel chains. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Loved our stay, have stayed since and will be staying again soon ........

There was really good servis - everything was working just perfect.

The size of the bathroom was huge but shower place very very small and water was soon everywhere. I think there should be more space to leave some stuff in the bathroom. I was missing some place wher to put the things.

Excellent location in the heart of the Old Town. Spacious rooms.

I had an inside room with no natural light. The plumbing needs a major overhaul. Every time someone used the bathroom in a room above or adjacent it sounded as though water was gushing through the room - extremely loud and woke me up frequently during the night.

Ancient building, worth stay for 1-2 nights maximum, because most rooms have no windows (actually windows face the lobby which was a patio centuries ago, now converted to a lobby, covered with roof.

Staff were excellent, overall design and layout of the hotel and rooms was great and a good gym and spa area. The hotel is located in the old town with a public underground parking just a few meters from the hotel.

We liked the entire ambience and experience of the hotel. The room was excellent and the atmosphere created by the internal central space was perfect. The breakfast was very high quality and the staff were very helpful.

The staffs were excellent, reception restaurant and bar staff. The room clean and well laid out, The hotel is 4 minutes walk from the main square

I think that the rate of €180.00 was a little expensive compared to hotels in Dublin ,Vienna and Trencianske Teplice which were between €110.00 and €145.00. other then that we loved the hotel

Surprised no fresh fruit at breakfast. Staff could be a little slow. Organised before came champagne and flower in room as was our 23rd anniversary and this was not done

the suite and everywhere else in the hotel was stunning and appeared freshly renovated

staff were mostly hopeless. service much less than five star. most were polite, one girl on reception seemed to speak adequate english, the rest were fairly useless. simple requests were ignored, forgotten or otherwise inadequately dealt with.

The staff were all flawless and friendly, the restoration of the original architecture was impressive, it was centrally located close to everything one normally wants to see in Bratislava and was well placed for the conference I attended.

The hotel is amazing and what they did to restore and renevate a historic building is superb. The staff just couldn't do enough to be helpful. One of the bellman even offered to go to a grocery store for me to get me something I wanted. With a delightful breakfast buffet included, my days started great. Just about anything you need or want is provided, spa, massage.
