This Boutique-style hotel is very conveniently located in Bratislava old centre and is absolutely charming. We stayed in a two floors attic; a lounge downstairs with bath and separate toilet, flat screen tv and a fireplace. Upstairs another yet tv, and very large and confortable double bed. Room decoration and furniture is cosy and done with taste. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere; food served is of good quality accompanied by a good selection of quality local and foreign wines. Staff is very friendly and competent: Lastly: the hotel is exceptionally clean. However, haven't had a chance to use the spa facilities. It was the first visit to this hotel, but will definitely return at the next opportunity when in Bratislava.
No tooth kit
Some rooms have no windows except onto the internal atrium. Could be noisy.
Everything about Arcadia oozes quality...from the hassle free check in to reluctant check out, nothing is too much trouble for the polite staff. The room was well appointed, and the bed quite simply the best ever experienced in a hotel. The fine restaurant is a must for evening dining, and the setting for a generous breakfast. Located a mere 50 metres from the main square, everything is within a short walk. I cannot recommend Arcadia enough...
Pina Colada at the fireplace bar could be better
Boutique-style hotel. Very helpful staff and very clean. The spa area was clean and looked newly renovated. The location is perfect.
I was surprised with the wellness. A steam room should have steam, it didn't. The whirlpool wasn't working either, only the sauna was. For a 5 star I would have expected a better quality bed, not one that felt lumpy.. The website is a bit misleading, I understood it that the room we had booked had a door that led to the wellness, it was one of the reasons why we chose this hotel. We had to go from the 3rd floor to -1
The sympathetic use of an old building. The beautiful, large room. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.
Nothing I possibly could dislike!
I don't care for the Loft rooms.
Location, steam bath, gym
the uninsulated drain pipes was just above my head and woke me up every morning! Totally unacceptable for a 5 star hotel
Location, room #9, helpfull and friendly staff
Was not informed that the steambath needed to be preordered. Massage was never available on 2 attempts. When I booked it said breakfast included, but not in the confirmation, so I was charged for it.
staff, good location
expensive for this city
The location is superb
Trivial I know . But not restocking the complimentary tea and coffee once during our stay.
Friendly efficient staff
Professional friendly staff, excellent dinner and breakfast, great whirlpool, lovely room, beautifully restored architectural treasure. We will be back.
The location was excellent. Less than a minute from The main Old Town Square. Everyone at hotel were very helpful and friend. A very special thank you to Martin at reception with helping us way beyond his call of duty. It was very much appreciated. Thanks Joseph for the entertaining conversation in the Lobby and also the lovely elderly gentleman in the restaurant for always remembering my room number!
Excellent location, high level of service, hotel with own personality, character and flavour of city.
Charming boutique hotel perfectly located in the historic district. The staff are welcoming and eager to help. Architecture is beautiful.
The bedding was washed with a strong detergent and can cause a slight skin allergic reaction.
We stayed in large, clean room. Hotel staff was helpful. Used the spa. We just had great time.
Everything about this hotel was excellent. Our room was quiet, the bed, bedding, robes all perfectly comfortable. The bathroom had high quality everything. The tub was long and deep, great for a soak. Good mini bar.
Beautiful room with quality furniture in beautiful area; rest of hotel also very pretty. Room price very modest.
Unfortunately, WiFi did not work at all, staff mentioned that Chrome and Mozilla browsers block it. First, this seems nonsensical, and second, if they know it already, why haven't they done anything about it yet? Furthermore, I asked for a glass of white wine in the Library Bar. No wine was on the menu, but the waiter happened to have a bottle open. I should have asked for the price in advance, which was my mistake, but in the end I paid 12 (twelve) euro 60 for it (0.2 l). Of course, I am in a 5 star hotel, I can afford it easily, but it feels as if you have stepped barefooted in a glass splinter in a further clean bathroom. I have never paid such an exorbitant price for a glass of wine from an already opened bottle of mediocre wine. I'd suggest to raise the room price by 10 euro and reduce the wine price to 6-8 at most. This was a long negative account but as I say, it is only a splinter of glass. Annoying, but it should not make you avoid this wonderful hotel (just ask for prices of wine in advance :-))
