Good location, clean, good breakfast.
It was great to stay somewhere different. How many people can say they've stayed on a boat on the Danube?
It is very basic accomodation but saying that it's inexpensive for a great experience.
i loved the location in respect to the old city square , the quietness of the botel , the breakfast was just great , so was the coffee. the girl managing the breakfast area was very friendly and attentive to peoples needs. the 24 hour security at reception was reassuring , if in BRAT again it would be my first call.
im not sure if all the rooms had a television like mine , but its better to have none than one that doesnt work ?. A small critique only.
In general, very good value for money
Horrible sewery smell coming from the bathroom
Location and view on Danube and bridge
Noise from outside
Excellent location (near to the historical center, everything accessable by feet), great room, very clean, amazing view!! customer service very good. quick check in-check out. the lady in the reception very kind and helpful gave us a lot of information.I would definitely stay there again! the best choice for Bratislava!!
Although the breakfast was good, it could be better by adding some fresh juice and sausages.
Fun for the location and being able to say "I stayed on a boat on the Danube". Spectacular view from the breakfast room.
Rather run down and grimey and little nautical charm - if it weren't a boat it would be a poorer class hotel. Breakfast not up to much despite the view. Concerned that the fire extinguisher was missing from outside my room and other signs of poor upkeep and management.
The attention of the receptionist were very pleasant and quality specially at the reception, there was a very nice lady in front desk who give us any kind of information we need about the city, quality care, facility to solve our problems we had at the moment, gave us security for our luggage, also clean rooms, breakfast very appropriate to begin the day, excellent location, in addition to the affordable prices , in conclusion excellent! And definitely would recommend this hotel!!!
Very good location, close to the center and to the place Blaguss bus arrives/leaves from/to Vienna airport; fast wi-fi
run-down boat, not easy to find, very poor breakfast
Great location, nice comfortable room, fair price, good service and breakfast
The lights went off on the corridor too fast, and well the window was a bit dirty, but the curtains were always there anyway.
It was situated next to a bus terminus which was ideal for us.
Clean new bathroom, very comfortable mattress. Breakfast was excellent. Safe car parking near to hotel.
Room was not so clean. Carpet looks like it was never vacuumed.
Beautifully kept hotel, rooms and public area. A delightful breakfast room and great choice for breakfast. Quiet street . 10 mins walk from main station and four minutes to airport bus. Extremely helpful staff.
Very good location - close to the old town. View over the river and the new bridge over the Duna river. The feeling of being on a ship cruise.
The "botel" rather than hotel has not been renewed for years. The room very basic with very thin windows. The bathroom very narrow. Carpets old, stained and dirty. The furniture probably of "socialist" origin. The double bed made of two... Everything would be ok if not the price... Not recommended.
You are on a barge on the river. The location is excellent, the room fine and the staff helpful. it is a bit shabby in places but my room was clean and well kept.
The location is excellent within walking distances to all the city attractions. The room with the danube view was a bonus since you can watch the river cruise ships passing by.Breakfast was good with a good choice of items. Staff very helpful and willing to assist you in your queries.
More cleanliness and keep up through out the botel in general. They must take a stand regarding the roof terrace because in my opinion they are not going to refurbish it since there are no works going on. TV not working.
Great to be able to say i have slept in a boat on the Danube. Even though it was ina dull & ugly cabin looking out onto a few metres of grey water and the embankment. Nice people though, and OK value for the price.
I shouldn't complain at this price, but some things are free or easy to do:- turn off the radio at breakfast. I don't want an excitable DJ gabbling on while I drink poor quality coffee. Get some better curtains - the street lights lit the room up - a lick of paint would help - a bar would be even better - for such a fabulous location, its more of a hostel than hotel. Nice people.
The best of the 3 botels on the powerful river. location perfect for town and near high-speed river trips to vienna (2hrs). breakfast fine. nice small old town and castle, excellent museum in old town hall and nedbalka gallery. Good value.
Has eastern bloc feel, eg only half the toaster working, but quaint for it! no kettle in rooms. ask for river view. being upgraded, restaurant closed (plenty in town nearby)
Spacious cabin. Near all activities. At bus station. Very helpful staff. Vierka is an asset to the Botel Gracia - with her friendliness and helpfulness. Breakfast ample.
Location is perfect. Everything is on walking distance. Staff is very helpful.
Pillows are poor. Very loud noise from ventilation start in 7:45
Fantastic breakfast and location. Fun change from a normal hotel.
Wifi was a little slow and it was a little more dingy than I expected.
+ excellent location + good value - price ratio + tasty breakfast + wi-fi
Such a great and different experience to stay and sleep in the boat.
Maybe noisy in the morning when other boats passes by, but we knew it will happen
I agree with the rest of the reviews - get a room facing the water (not the city). The room itself was a decent size room. I was expecting something similar to the size of a cruise ship - but it was much larger. It also had a lot of windows that overlooked the river. It was a neat experience to stay on this Botel, and I would consider staying there another time.
It is in need of some renovations, but for the price it was a good deal. There were several hairs in the shower (not mine), so a little more attention to the cleaning would go along way.
The setting was amazing watching the river and boats passing by , I was captivated by the scenery The staff were very helpful
The bed was a bit on the firm side. Having quite a large vent at the bottom of the door? didn't give you much privacy. The coffee let down the breakfast
