We enjoined the breakfast, nice cakes. We were in the only one appartment in first floor and it was big with good views to UFO and Castle and confortable bed. The location is very good and the place is quite. Good experience.
We wrote the hotel before going that we will be there early in the morning (6AM) and they said there will not be problem to enter, but we had to wait until 12:30 to get the room. Staff in the reception not so friendly during the nights/mornings.
great location in the city center; view
rooms could be cleaner; no parking; lady at the reception was very nice, but one of the men seemed not to care of anything; no possibility to even drink something hot in the evening
Location, the room is in a boat, included breakfast.
we couldn't acess the terrace that was undergoing repairs.
The location! Is just right in front of everywhere! Perfect!
It was so hot.
Good location to ferry terminal & short walk to old town centre. Breakfast was ok
Not much signage for the botel on street front, had some difficulty in finding it. Hallway to rooms were dark & carpet had wet patches in it. Restaurant was not open
close to city center on the danube-nice view from the room good price
it's like to be in a boat!!!
Great location in the city center at a fair price. Very good wifi. Overall ok for just one night in Bratislava.
Small bathroom, old furniture and questionable breakfast.
Very good location, good breakfast, interesting experience
Very small parking, ugly rooms, noisy night
excellent position, few minutes a walk up to the center of the town and castle. looked by outside, i did not see it very well but after entering i changed my mind. it is better inside than the outside. basic botel but clean.
the breakfast - a little bit poor on variety and on quality, too. no open air restaurat to have a drink or something to eat. actually, it has no restaurant, only the breakfast was possible. the room is a little bit too small. there is the possibility to have no parkng place free as the botel has only 4 places in front of it.
We stayed on a Saturday night and there was a lot of noise all night from a party/club on the river.
Strange place. Rooms are small, but functional, we stayed only one night though. Location is great, right in the city center. Friendly stuff, good breakfast. Ok place to spend one night, no more than that. Still good value for the money.
The restaurant and the upper deck is not open due to the renovations, so all we could do is just go to sleep. If you stay in there, don't open the windows or you will end up with your clothes and bedding wet from the humidity. The hotel in the desperate need of renovations, may be after they finish it will be great place to stay.
The novelty of sleeping on a boat
The stuff Location Our son loved the idea of sleeping on a boat
Air-condition would be a good idea for future
Nice and romantic place, breakfast was good, clean, near city centre, great views of the river
Nice river view, near to the centre and good beakfast
Tram 13 that is used from central train station to reach the hotel is not working as it is under construnction. We discovered this problem on our arrival as it was not mentioned on the hotel website. We had to ask for other alternatives and were lost. Take care, ask for the suitable way to reach the hotel before arrival.
easy access to historical center; original site for breakfast and coffee.
It was a barge. On the river. Great view. Good Wifi. Taxi at the front. Everything a few mins away. Supermarket across road.
The bed was a bit uncomfortable. I used a donnas under me. That fixed it.
good for young people, tasty breakfasts, clean rooms, nice service 5 min to the old town
there's no air-conditioning, stuffy rooms.
Great location, close to the centre of town. Awaiting refurbishment so parts of the boat are closed but still a good place to stay for a couple of nights
Until the refurb is done it will feel a bit neglected
Nice room, interior of the hotel Nice idea of the hotel on the river Good position - in the city center
Breakfast - a few sweet meals
Loved the location looking over the Daube was a delight. The staff were helpful. The breakfast excellent. Assisted us with our bicycles by providing a safe place for them.
This hotel is suitable for those on a budget and want to be close to the action. Only a 5 minute walk to the Old Town, this is suitably located to access the main attractions of Bratislava. We found the staff at the hotel to be helpful, friendly and approachable. Breakfast is basic but it is enough to keep you going. The WiFi connection at the hotel is very reliable which is useful if you like to keep in touch with the world. I would certainly recommend this hotel to people who are visiting the city of Bratislava.
A very old TV within the bedroom and this often lost its signal!
Straight off the bus from Vienna to the Hotel, the old town is a short walk away. Some of the Botel facilities were being renovated so we didn't get to see everything they had, I haven't rated the facilities.
The thunderstorm the night we stayed.
The Botel is obviously a former cruise boat which has been pretty well renovated as a hotel. It was much more comfortable than I was expecting and the location is very close to the old city and there was a lot of lively activity in the main promenade, on the night we stayed there was a festival of folk music. Wonderful. Also right on the main cycle path. Our bikes were looked after very well. Staff spoke good English and were helpful and friendly in every way. Breakfast was very good.
There was an entertainment park on the other side of the Danube blasting out rock music till well after 11pm, then it died down. A bit annoying but didn't bother us too much.
