Hotel Crocus  

The hotel is well located, close to the lake and the train station. The hotel is brand new, the rooms are really nice, confy and clean. The rooms are big enough for a family of 3-4. The view is fantastic from the upper rooms.

The staff is awful. No smile, they could not speak any foreign language. We felt like we are just pain in their back. The service is very poor too, you have to pay for any extra service. There is a fire place in every room, but to get wood and fire you have to pay 5 euros. The wellness (which is a small room) costs 21 euros for two in a 4 star hotel! We reserved it for 4 people, but finally we were only two there, but they still made us to pay for 4. Despite we told them, that we only two in the wellness, the lady didn't believe us, and kind a threatened us that she can watch back on the video to check if we are lieing. The restaurant was not working.

Very good location. Apartman was nice, spacious and comfortable, clean.

The hotel location is very convenient for all the travelers. It is located very close to the Strbske Pleso (lake) and next to the railway station. Even though distance to the railways station is only a few metres you will not notice any noise from the electric trains. The hotel apartments are very modern and spacious with all necessary equipment to have comfort vacation. I am sure I will go there again - most likely next time in winter.

Great location, train station 20m, modern and comfortible furnished, equipped kitchen (good off the season, because breakfast and restaurant is closed), we have 50% discount in november, good value for money. Restaurant Furkotka is ok next to the Crocus Hotel

If you come during the day, there is a paid parking on the access road. We mentioned Hotel Crocus and were passed in with no problem. Parking in front the hotel is free, but limited.

The hotel is directly next to the railway station and main car parks so is ideally located. The noise is minimal. The hotel was comfortable and staff were keen to help.

Unfortunately the room I had on the 4th floor had its view of the mountains blocked by a group of trees about 5 storeys in height to one side and the other side was a building site for a new hotel/apartments.

Location and comfort

Everything was great in this hotel. Breakfast was excellent and a very good value for the money. Restaurent is also good. I would definitely stay in this hotel again if I ever travel again. 2 mins walk from the railway station. Location was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay here.

The man at the night desk was very rude and not polite. Beside the general behaviour, the main issue was that we did not had breakfast in our reservation and, according to booking.com conditions, we told directly him that we wanted to have breakfast paying the additional fee. Bur at first he told that the hotel does not have breakfast (?), than that we didn't have in the reservation (ok, fine), then that we couldn't have it (??), finally he told that we can have but actually he did not insert in the system... No comment, maybe he was sleeping.... PS: finally I went in the morning to the reception to ask to insert breakfast... PS2: the breakfast is nothing special considering the "Slovak standards"

Отличное расположение. Рядом стания Strebske Pleso, супермаркет, рестораны, ну и собственно само озеро. Чистый и уютный номер. Все очень свежее и новое. Новая сантехника, обстановка. У нас был апартамент с эл.плиткой, СВЧ и посудой. Очень удобно. Можно выбирать - пойти в ресторан или приготовить ужин дома. В номере был даже камин, но мы его не разжигали... Номер очень просторный и даже была отдельная комната гардероб. Wi Fi был на первом этаже и в ресторане на 2-м. В номере проводной интернет. У нас был вариант размещения без завтрака. Один раз сходили на завтрак и больше не ходили. Такой завтрак мы с успехом готовили себе сами...

Претензий нет, если бы ни одно "НО"... В момент Check Out с нас как-то ненавязчиво пытались дополнительно получить деньги за завтраки... А завтраки вообще то недешевые - 7 Евро... А у нас был вариант размещения без завтрака, и только один раз мы специально накануне закзывали завтрак. В момент выписки девушка на ресепшн стала сразу плохо понимать по русски, хотя в остальные дни другие дежурные отлично нас понимали. Пришлось подключить английский. С ситуацией разобрались. Но осадочек остался... Так что будьте внимательны при выписке, не расслабляйтесь и проверяйте ваш счет...

уютный чистый отель. просторные светлые номера. очень хорошее расположение для пеших прогулок. рядом озеро, очень удобно для утренних пробежек. камин в комнате очень радует. розжиг и комплект дров - 5 евро. хорошая детская комната.

маленький и дорогой спа: только сауна и джакузи. во время нашего визита не работал ресторан и массажный кабинет. хотели включить нам в счет 150 евро за царапины на ламинатном полу от ножек стульев. после выяснения обстоятельств, сказали, что платить не нужно, но осадочек остался.
