Art Hotel William  

Lovely hotel in a great location. Rooms are spacious and spotless, bed and pillows really comfortable. Breakfast was very good and staff very pleasant - all English speaking. Would definitely stay again.

The room was spacious, central, clean, nicely decorated and calm (inside a small shopping galery). The breakfast was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were offered the possibility to order a taxi to Bratislava airport for 20 euros/car (12 minutes without traffic).We will come back to Bratislava and stay at the same hotel !

If you plan to use public transport from bra airport to the hotel with luggage and/or bad weather, it's a bit annoying (bus stop until the train station, take another bus+walk for 10minutes). Nevertheless, we will certainly come back to the same hotel.

If you are looking for a mid range hotel, smack bang in the middle of Bratislava, then this hotel is for you. Hotel is perfectly located in the Old Town of Bratislava and everything you need is on your doorstep.

Food was alright, but nothing special. Granted we only had breakfast in the hotel but is set you up for the day.

This is a very nice hotel indeed, and it's in a really good location. The reception staff were outstanding: friendly, kind and helpful. I had a beautiful room with a large bathroom, every comfort, an excellent breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit and hot choices, and it was fantastic value for money. I would not consider staying anywhere else in Bratislava.

The only thing that I would have liked to see was a computer for guests to use because I don't have a laptop - but this is a small detail.

Fabulous location, great rooms, helpfull and attentive staff, and good value. A definite 9/10 hotel for me (even the mini-bar wasn't an attempt to extort money)!

Noisy people waking us up every night but this can happen everywhere...Girl at reception desk had forgotten to order the taxi to the airport though we had instructed her to do so. No spa nor swimming pool, no bathtube, Staff are not the most helpfull or friendly I've ever seen and we travel a lot....

The staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. The bedroom and bathroom were incredibly spacious with lots of shelf space. The amenities were excellent. Everything was clean, tidy & well laid out. The location is central. The intense red decor was different but not to my taste. Breakfast had good variety and was satisfying.

It amazes me that the overwhelming majority of hotels have no idea about the main reason that a hotel is used for, which is to sleep. Money was spent on everything else but the most important aspect of a hotel, which is quality mattresses. The mattress in my room was cheap and torturous. I woke up in the middle of the night with an incredibly sore back and could hardly sleep. A bed topper would probably solve the problem and could easily be provided for those who request it. There is a heat source somewhere in the room that I failed to locate and eliminate. The room is quiet if you keep the window closed otherwise you hear people walking past talking & shouting.
