Falkensteiner Hotel Bratislava  

I loved this hotel. The best part about it were the staff, who were beyond helpful. For example, I had some odd requests, such as finding a salon that used a very specific product and locating a seamstress. They not only did so for me, but when I returned to the front desk, they had marked out detailed maps and directions, found out the costs, and made appointments for me. They truly went above and beyond multiple times. I also loved the breakfast. Yes, it's expensive at 18 Euro, but it was so good! The hotel offered an astounding array of pastries and other foods, as well as a fresh juice presser with fresh oranges, an omelet station, and champagne. I also found my room to be quite comfortable with pleasant, modern design. The hotel is very convenient to the old town. Really, I was completely pleased with it.

The only thing that could make this hotel better would be to make the wi-fi free, as any hotel over 50 Euro a night really should. Oh, and it would be nice to have a bigger bedspread for those of us who toss and turn at night! Seriously, these are only minor complaints, as the level of service really made up for any deficiencies.

This has been a dreadful stay at this hotel. I spend over 150 hotel nights a year, this was my worst. At arrival, the room temperature was way too hot. After complaining at the desk, they advised to open my window. Late at night, the temperature was still too hot, so (trying) to sleep with open windows on a busy Fridat night, just opposite the bus station. No Sleeping! After some hours, we closed the windows, and then it became too hot again. No sleep that night. When I complained next day, the reception said that there were more complaints: the management did not want to turn the AC on at floor 3 and higher!!!!! No Falkensteiner for me anymore.

Couldn't have been a better visit! Food was excellent, staff like wise. Will return again next time in Slovakia.

I felt the hotel was a good place to relax within a relatively short walk of the old town - 10 to 15 mins. It is very convenient for a stroll to the castle. I particularly liked the breakfast spread which I thought was extensive, tasty and among the best I have seen on my travels. The hotel personnel were courteous with a genuine wish for you to enjoy your stay. I recommend this hotel to travellers.

L' hôtel était parfait, Propreté de l’hôtel, qualité du personnel . Serviable et font tout pour répondre au mieux à nos attentes, Vraiment à notre service. Personnel très sympa et finition de l'hôtel très luxueuse. Hôtel à recommander !!!
