Score from 94 reviews Very good
excellent staff, great location
Very good breakfast, nice personal, not far away from train-station.
Bathroom looked very old.
Comfortable room, friendly stuff, parking. Breakfast is not included, but very good for the price and with amazing panoramic view of the Tatra mountains
Hotel seems a little bit old, very old bathroom but clean
We spent 2 nights in Hotel Gerlach in Feburary. We had a large room, in the style of the early 70', which is a fashion now. It was clean, comfortable. Sure, the whole hotel building needs renovation, but the rooms are acceptable, and the price is very friendly. The lady at the reception spoke English, was nice and welcoming with us. The breakfast room has a big size panorama window, with a beautiful view to the High Tatras. The hotel is easy to find, and close to the railwaystation. Ideal place for excursions. We will probably go back in April.
It is a pity that it is not possible to have lunch or dinner in the restaurant of the hotel.
Location and parking
Very old furniture everywhere- looks like it has not been changed for 40 years (since the old good times of the hotel). A complete "retro style". Weak wi-fi reception, only available downstairs in the lobby and in Cafe.
old smelly towels, rather level of 2* hotel
dirty, stained mattresses, smell, bathrooms
nothing except location
This hotel must be shut down as it needs a serious renovation!!
They gave us bigger room
Retro hotel.Great location. You feel like in 80' ..era comunism.
The light in the bathroom didnt work.
a little dirty, no tv remote control in the room
The room and bathroom was just awful, it's a joke not a 3-star hotel - the bathroom was still there intact right since the communist era. 'Eros night club' at sevent floor doesn't help either. Though the location is good, the unreasonably high prices lead to poor value.
Very close to the train/bus stop, not far from the city center.
The receptionist was very friendly but lost when more customers. We needed to ask for a room change as we got worse standard that we booked (shared bathroom). The hotel is very old and haven't been reconstructed for a long time, wouldn't call it ***hotel.
very good location with 3-minute walking distance to bus station, and 5-minute to train station,
WiFi available only at the lobby
