Clean and tidy with a good location. The hotel is near an artificial lake in the area of Rusinov. It has excellent connections with the city center with direct trams. Staff was helpful.

Don't expect too much - the furnishing is not new however, as noted before - it is clean.

Nice pond and park in the area.

Hotel does not worth any star from hotel rating. Probably 3 stars were given some decades ago. Rooms, elevators and all environment needs to be repaired. Showers missing curtains, door locks broken, windows curtains without possibility of regulation . Breakfast awful - synthetic coffee and drink named orange juice, very poor choice.

    The location.

Bad breakfast. The check in took too much time and there was a strange feeling of 80's hotel that wasn't felt in the pictures.

Fairly easy access from the Bratislava city centre and fairly good access to the airport. Wifi but quite slow. Friendly reception staff.

Room and bathroom in really poor standard. Old unawatchable tv without femonte control. Breakfast "just ok" but could be much much better. Highly overpriced for such a low quality

The location was good. The "Bajkalská" bus stop 600m north has direct, sub-15 minute bus connections to the airport, main railway station and Petrzalka borough (plus many other areas/places!), and there is a big supermarket right nextdoor. Many professional sports facilities (football, ice hockey, tennis) are closeby as well. WiFi worked well in all parts of the hotel where we tried it. The lake is also quite picturesque and there is an on-site nightclub for those that like those sorts of things.

Having stayed in a few Slovak hotels now, I think they seem to like hard mattresses, but these were very hard. We were drunk both nights so we still slept fine though! Shower was above the bath with no shower curtain/door so inevitably the floor got flooded. Again, not a problem as we just mopped the water up with towels and the towels were replaced daily if required. Breakfast was OK and probably a perfectly normal Slovak breakfast, but if you're expecting a full English you'll be disappointed.

We liked location, friendly staff, walking distance to grocery store. Private parking is rare for Bratislava and breakfast included in the rate. Would recommend it

Picturesque location, on the banks of a lake. Parking available for travelers by car. Friendly staff. Close to a tram stop. Good Wifi signal.

Old Communist/Soviet style hotel, needing refurbishment. Breakfast food and drinks have low quality.

The hotel was quite good, so was the room. Staff members were friendly. Breakfast was good - the same on both days I stayed, but good. The price was appropriate the services I got. I would return to this hotel again.

The old elevators proved that the building was quite old. The room was equipped with an approximately 12-inch (!) TV which had the volume button broken (and no remote control) - it was almost not usable, but I didn't visit the hotel to watch TV, so I didn't care. In the 1st evening the WIFI wasn't almost working, but in the second evening it was.

    location, price, privat parking

terrible breakfast, vegitables taken out from freezer, sausages - leftover from day before, no eggs

This is a typical hotel from the Communist times and it certainly looks it both from the outside and inside, but it is good value for money. The rooms are clean and the place has an interesting interior design. Room facilities are basic but adequate. Receptionists are kind and smiling. The hotel is nicely located by a small lake a bit from the city centre and in the summer, I would love to sit at the bar terrace in the evening with a cold Slovak beer, looking out over the lake. I will stay here again during my next visit to Bratislava!

The hotel's location is not convenient for those on a weekend-city-break (there is several minutes of walk around the lake to the nearest tram stop) and those looking for something a little bit more modern or renovated are not going to appreciate the 1980s-style interior and basic standard of the rooms. Also, the breakfast is nothing to write home about - but lovers of old-world-Interhotel nostalgia will love the chemical-style orange juice :)
