The location on the lake was very nice, but thats the only nice thing about this hotel, Unfortunately.
The hotel was very poorly run, the resturant was not open the bar was Not open, no place near by that a person could get a decent meal. The Whole Hotel smelled of old and new SMOKE, VERY BAD.!!!! THe whole hotel needs an UPGRADE, We enjoy Bratislava and will be back but not at this Hotel.
Very friendly personnel; close to airport and fairly close to Old Town. Supermarket just across the street!
The bed was very uncomfortable , so it was hard to sleep.
Breakfast could be better and WiFi coverage and performance could be improved.
Breakfast and WiFi coverage and performance.
Quite good for short time stay. Friendly staff and quite good breakfast. Nice view throuth the window to lake.
A litle bit old fashioned style. And poor plants near by hotel...
Staff and good parking
Run down decor and poor location
Clean and tidy with a good location. The hotel is near an artificial lake in the area of Rusinov. It has excellent connections with the city center with direct trams. Staff was helpful.
Don't expect too much - the furnishing is not new however, as noted before - it is clean.
Proximity to grocery store, public transit, alternative restaurants and lake with children's park
Old fashioned and unconfortable furniture. Current decoration is necesarry.
Stayed there for one night with wife and 12 yo daughter. Was hot weather (for about 30 C) and due to lack of air conditioning we were forced to open window. But we couldn't sleep at all because during all night under our windows was standing and shouting, laughing and making other noise a dozen of drunk people. Several calls to hotel receptionist and asks him to call police makes no result. So we were forced to leave that hotel at 5am without breakfast and with very bad feelings.
Great place to view sovietical heritage
viec from window nice, friendly Staff but still tired ;-)
very difficult to find with GPS even, very expensive payments for animals, no place to eat something in hotel or close to hotel, 100m from there horrible pizza only on weekend! not clean in rooms and noise from cars from street whole night. expensive parking
Dirt everywhere Small crt tv Dark room No cover sheets over matraces!!! Very poor breakfast!!!!
beside a lake, and a supermarket. good staff, and she gives us some useful advices.
Facilities seem like years old.
Nice pond and park in the area.
Hotel does not worth any star from hotel rating. Probably 3 stars were given some decades ago. Rooms, elevators and all environment needs to be repaired. Showers missing curtains, door locks broken, windows curtains without possibility of regulation . Breakfast awful - synthetic coffee and drink named orange juice, very poor choice.
Bad breakfast. The check in took too much time and there was a strange feeling of 80's hotel that wasn't felt in the pictures.
Fairly easy access from the Bratislava city centre and fairly good access to the airport. Wifi but quite slow. Friendly reception staff.
Room and bathroom in really poor standard. Old unawatchable tv without femonte control. Breakfast "just ok" but could be much much better. Highly overpriced for such a low quality
hotel clean and friendly staff good bar and restaurant
lift had a broken light so was dark when you entered, breakfast poor no boiled or fried or any kind of eggs, is there no chickens in slovakia or what and also no coffee or tea for breakfast????
The location was good. The "Bajkalská" bus stop 600m north has direct, sub-15 minute bus connections to the airport, main railway station and Petrzalka borough (plus many other areas/places!), and there is a big supermarket right nextdoor. Many professional sports facilities (football, ice hockey, tennis) are closeby as well. WiFi worked well in all parts of the hotel where we tried it. The lake is also quite picturesque and there is an on-site nightclub for those that like those sorts of things.
Having stayed in a few Slovak hotels now, I think they seem to like hard mattresses, but these were very hard. We were drunk both nights so we still slept fine though! Shower was above the bath with no shower curtain/door so inevitably the floor got flooded. Again, not a problem as we just mopped the water up with towels and the towels were replaced daily if required. Breakfast was OK and probably a perfectly normal Slovak breakfast, but if you're expecting a full English you'll be disappointed.
Nonstop recepce, parking, nice park next to the hotel
Very poor breakfast,thin walls
We liked location, friendly staff, walking distance to grocery store. Private parking is rare for Bratislava and breakfast included in the rate. Would recommend it
Picturesque location, on the banks of a lake. Parking available for travelers by car. Friendly staff. Close to a tram stop. Good Wifi signal.
Old Communist/Soviet style hotel, needing refurbishment. Breakfast food and drinks have low quality.
Great location and friendly staff
Price, staff,good value for money
