Nestled in a green area of Bratislava, the Hotel Junior overlooks the waters of Lake Štrkovec. It features 2 bars and a restaurant serving local specialities. Free Wi-Fi is available in all the rooms of the Junior Hotel. The rooms are simply furnished, and include en suite bathrooms with bathtubs. The restaurant serves traditional Slovak cuisine, daily soups and hearty meat dishes. Budget fixed menus are available for lunch and dinner. Guests can also request a room service or enjoy a cocktail at the cosy lobby bar. The hotel is located within walking distance of both Štadión Pasienky and the Samsung Arena. Staff was excellent. Inexpensive. Windows were easy to open. Location was awful. Food was not good and beds were very hard (platform style).

The 70s interior was funky. Old fashioned room keys so two people per room could not each have their own key to come and go as they liked.

Decent value for money. The double room we stayed in was fairly large, clean, basicaly furnished, the heating was on (in November). 80's decor is not too disturbing. Breakfast was basic, but you can eat as much as you can/want. Free parking at the hotel. It's takes half an hour to get to the city centre on foot. Take the tram! Missed a hairdryer in the bathroom.

It was very centrally located and right beside a lovely lake, the staff were very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to keep up happy. The beds were a little uncomfortable, the restaurant didn't open in the evening

great location - situated by the lake - close to the city centre cca 15min by tram very good restaurant, tasty food for a good price very friendly and helpful hotel staff room we've stayed was very plain and very basic, needed modernising, no flat screen TV

Great location, at the lake, you can jog around or have a cold beer in the warm summer day. Free and secure parking- very appreciated in Bratislava. Friendly stuff, food was good too. The hotel is old and need to be renovated. Rooms are not the cleanest, devices as a tv or Phone are not working. Carpet smells and needs to be removed.

excellent value for money. The external view is a nightmare of the socialist buildings. Inside, inspite of the old socialist fashion look, everything works properly.

The free public playground for the children was very appreciated by them. Kind and helpfull staff. Value for money Hotel describtion showed 2 bars/casino. But nothing of this, anyway not on workingdays in march 2012
