Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast buffet, central location, beautiful, spacious and clean rooms. Really good value for money ! You have to pay a lot if you want to use the spa.

The staff were very welcoming and accommodating of special requests. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere with a roaring log fire welcoming visitors and a well-stocked plate of cookies in the lounge. I booked 2 hrs in the spa which was superb to get private access to such a nice facility. My only wish was to have had more time to enjoy the library and delve into some of the books. The pastries at breakfast could have been fresher

The Marrols hotel is in a great location, just 5 minutes walk from the Main Square where you will find plenty of bars and restaurants. It is also only a few minutes walk from the Danube. Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, the staff were very informative about places to visit and were very friendly and polite and spoke good English. The choice of breakfast was one of the best we have ever had, cereals, fresh fruit and juices choice of fresh bread rolls and cake, hot buffet breakfast and cold meats and salmon, yoghurts and much more, fancy a latte or cappuccino just ask a memeber of staff and they will gladly make you one, nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. Rooms were very comfortable and clean and the free mini bar though limited was an added bonus as was the welcome free drink on arrival. Would definitely recommend to family and friends

Everything! The room was tastefully (to me anyway) decorated, everything was included in the rate with no surprises, the staff were kind and prompt to assist us, the terrace between 1st and 2nd floor was fantastaic, the garage secure, and so on and so on. We received a voucher for a discount on the hotel's restaurant, which we were hesitant to use, but did in the end and don't regret at all. It was an excellent dinner, and even at full price it would have been worth it. Not only the food was great, but the service was among the best I've experienced (timely, kind, formal but natural), as well as the atmosphere. What I didn't like? That we had to work next day and couldn't stay longer!

The location was perfect for Bratislava Old Town and the Danube for a sail to Vienna. The regular No 13 tram took us to the train station and the stop for the tram was minutes from the hotel. The Reception staff were extremely polite, frinedly and helpful, as were the Bell Boys. Breakfast was leisurely and a feast! It was probably included in the price but the free mini bar (soft drinks, beer and wine) was a nice gesture. Also the sun terrace had free waters (still and sparkling). Nothing! My only regret is not having the opportunity of dining in the restaurant nor using the spa facilities. Guess I'll just have to visit again!

Marrol's Hotel is beautifully decorated, the staff and service is excellent and it's located in a quite side street in walking distance of the old town. I'd go back there anytime. There was so much water pressure in the shower that the water would splash all over the bathroom when showering.

A really great hotel ideally situated in the old town with easy access to the beautiful castle and a range of restaurants and cafes. The staff were very attentive, friendly and professional. On arrival we were offered a choice of free drinks and (nice touch) on my wife's birthday we found on returning to our room a single rose and a card wishing her many happy returns. The breakfast was extensive (hot & cold options) and the wifi was free and effective. The decor was classical but not old/gaudy and the double room we had was very comfortable and clean. Consider the 20 euro charge for airport transfers arranged by the hotel - same price as a taxi! I would certainly recommend this hotel to those visiting Bratislava.

Arrangement and the personnel relation Absence working спа salon because of which it in general that also has been chosen. Absence of Russian-speaking channels. Absence of daily qualitative cleaning of a toilet bowl. Very small area of number.

A lovely city hotel in a quiet but central location. Very helpful and professional staff who made us feel genuinely welcome. Excellent breakfast. The restaurant was very upmarket so we saved that for a special last night treat. Would recommend to anyone.

The free minibar was nice to have on the room. There is no bar in the hotel, only the minibar can solve a little this issue. The pool and sauna are charged and very high priced for what it is. The fitness area is little but free.

I knew of Marrols as I used to live in the area. I had always wanted to stay there as I knew of its reputation as some friends had stayed there. The free mini bar is a plus, the staff couldn't go enough for you, they were not only friendly but genuinely wanted to help you. I loved the rooms, although slightly small, but very well presented and cleaned to perfection. Local is very good as well, its just off the square so central but not noisy at night! There were only 2 negatives about this hotel. The girl who served us breakfast couldn't really speak English and there was no courtesy room. This was a bit of an issue for us as our flight home wasn't until 10:30pm! So having to vacate our room by 11am wasn't very good. We asked about a late check-out and was told it was €50! And we asked about a courtesy room to be able to have a shower and was told this wasn't something they do. So that was slightly disappointing.

Nice furniture, attention to detail. Nothing specifically; just some constructive feedback: they should provide a bar of soap or two (all the soap provided was liquid, though of course very good).

Wonderful hotel, with the fireplace in the lobby, home baked cookies and the smell of apples and cinnamon. Great stuff- friendly and helpful. No doubt that the hotel could be recommended as 5 star boutique hotel.

Hotel staff and breakfasts were beyond expectations. It's cool to have a computer with free Internet in the room, many channels available on tv (though some are really too accesible). Good location - 5 mins to the center. Free minibar. Probably it really is the best hotel in Bratslava, last year we stayed at "Apollo" and Marrols of course is much better. Too much furniture in the room and at the same time not enuf space in the wardrobe. You cannot find a place to store your bags. Spa is expensive, though nice. Windows facing a gloomy yard.

Staff members were very friendly and helpful. The location is central but peaceful and the old city is at a walking distance. It was nice to have a PC in the room. The room was cosy but it was quite small, only one armchair. The use of the spa facilities was over-priced.

The location, a few blocks from Bratislava's old town/pedestrian zone, was excellent for my purposes. The service was efficient, and also courteous and friendly from the welcome drink as I checked in to checkout (thanks, Danita!). The breakfast was delicious. And the room was very cool -- tasteful, smart art on the walls, comfortable bed, a television with more than 100 channels in English (mostly news services, which I loved), German, Italian, fewer in French and Spanish, but a really wide variety. My only slight issue was trying to find the right spot for good reception of the wi-fi. I use a MacBookPro and am not very good at other kinds of computers. If you are a pc person, however, you have a personal computer in the room!
