lovely rooms.Hotels in good location for city and port,good if you are going to Vienna by Twin City Liner. Breakfast,there was wait for coffee,then another wait for bacon, then ran out of eggs,and had to wait until they were cooked.Asked for poached eggs,afterwards were asked to sign 3 euros extra for one egg,same happened when my husband asked scrambled eggs.however contacted Booking.com and they resolved the problem with hotel.there was no extra charge

We thought Marrol's Boutique Hotel was excellent in all aspects and will certainly be back with a group of friends to visit the city for a weekend break. All the staff were very friendly in the hotel and a nice touch was a free drink and chocolates on arrival in reception were we were upgraded to a superior room free of charge along with a free mini bar including wine.

Marrol's exceeded all our expectations. It is such a quaint, well run hotel. The service we received was perfect. There was always someone there to help us with whatever our needs. It felt as if we were staying with close friends. The hotel was impeccably clean. The location is perfect to visit the old town center but also close to major highways for easy access to Vienna and surrounding cities

Everything. The decor is lovely and very comfortable, especially in the bar. The majority of staff are falling over themselves to help you. The rooms are clean, cosy and include the mini-bar content and satellite channels for free. The bathrooms are clean and perfectly laid-out. And finally the restaurant staff are very courteous. The restaurant is high quality with a small but gourmet menu. The only concern of mine is that the portions are small and I was not filled by 3 courses.

Very helpfull staff - free bubbles on arrival - taxi transfer to airport in black Mercedes limo ! Nice breakfast included but still had to pay 3 euro's extra for scrambled eggs !

The location was perfect; in the old town, but also just a couple blocks away from the Twin City Liner boat dock (which we used to travel to Vienna). The staff were all accommodating and friendly and the rooms were lovely - complete with a complimentary mini-bar. We would definitely stay here again!

Location, mostly helpful staff, nice room. They didn't charge for an incorrectly cooked dish. It seemed a big effort for them to provide dinner at 9.30pm as the kitchen was going to close at 10pm. Very ordinary wine was produced with great ceremony, including in an unnecessary decanter, as were the main dishes (lamb under a cloche, venison under a smoke-filled glass). Unfortunately the lamb was still half-frozen and had to be sent back. The free "mini-bar" contained only instant coffee and tea bags.

High standard of service and attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who all appeared to enjoy their jobs. Location, although handy for the old town, is not in keeping with the hotel.

Everything! Small details, smh almost always perfect There were some misunderstandings .The information in my reservation was not reliable .1-parking was not free as it is said on booking hotel's page (it was 16 Euro for/day)! 2-It was said in my printed reservation that the roоm was paid during reservation(Non refundable).So I was sure I have already paid for my room .They told me I did not.So I had to chek if they have charged my card-(they did not) and pay on check-out + pay for the parking ,which took some time and some 16 Euro also.For system information!

The room is beautifully decorated and clean. The staff are helpful. The reception made a mistake with my bill but sorted it out promptly and went out of their way to make up for it. The cleaners make a lot of noise. The noise starts before 08:00 and goes on all day, until about 17:00. Our room in particular was situated next to a cleaners cupboard and a cleaning trolley and brooms, mop buckets etc would be parked up opposite our room all day. The banging, crashing and even more banging from the cleaners is unacceptable and left me feeling sleep deprived!

Everything about this hotel was excellent. The staff were courteous, very helpful and efficient. The room was extremely comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was of the highest standard. Location was very convenient for Bratislava centre.

Excellent warm welcome. Lovely, well furnished and comfortable room. The complimentary bar was re stocked daily and the staff went out of their way to help you with any query from IT problems to plug adaptors. The buffet style breakfast was superb and would cater for anyone's taste. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Marrol's Boutique Hotel.

A really great hotel ideally situated in the old town with easy access to the beautiful castle and a range of restaurants and cafes. The staff were very attentive, friendly and professional. On arrival we were offered a choice of free drinks and (nice touch) on my wife's birthday we found on returning to our room a single rose and a card wishing her many happy returns. The breakfast was extensive (hot & cold options) and the wifi was free and effective. The decor was classical but not old/gaudy and the double room we had was very comfortable and clean. Consider the 20 euro charge for airport transfers arranged by the hotel - same price as a taxi! I would certainly recommend this hotel to those visiting Bratislava.
