Hotel Národný dom  

La habitación estaba bien y limpia. La zona de habitaciones no estaba en obras y estaba bien. La ubicación es muy buena, para visitar la ciudad a pie. El precio excelente y el desayuno buffet correcto. El hotel, cuando finalicen las obras estará bien.

El acceso, que a causa de las obras era incomodo.El hotel estaba en obras en la zona de recepción y para acceder a las habitaciones había que pasar por la cocina, a través del restaurante, lo que resultaba incomodo; además como la habitación estaba en un 2º piso, se accedía por una escalera interior

Great location, nice hotel.

A bit noisy when people are talking in the corridor... Could do a bit of maintenance in the bathroom... Broken shower.

Very close to main square. Quiet. Easy access to parking. This was not an expensive hotel, so was adequate for the price. This was a convenient stopover between places. The restaurant was huge but the meal we had was tasty and very well priced. We were the only customers but it was off season? And mid week...

Difficulty getting service. Staff were not helpful , in part that could have been a language issue. No lifts and no assistance with baggage.

The receptionist helped me solve a booking error (totally my fault) - for which I am eternally grateful. The hotel is quiet and located just off the main square in a great art deco building attached to the opera house. The restaurant is very elegant and sports a breakfast buffet with an array of local fare and baked goods.

The Soviet-era lobby is incongruent with the elegance of the building. These suggestions are meant to make a great hotel better. 1. Place an 'art deco' style sign where it is visible on the front of the building or streetside. 2. Mark the entrance on the left "Restaurant" and the one on the right "Reception." 3. Move the reception area into the space presently marked "Coat Check" and make a seating area where the receptionist now sits. 4. Make sure the reception area is manned at all times.

The hotel is attached to the Opera and only a couple of blocks from the main square - so the location is fantastic. The room was upgraded a bit and comfortable - no complaints. It was built in 1928 and most of the building's infrastructure was original, which lent to a nostalgic feel, but the lack of an elevator was the downside of the historical experience. It's worth the stay for the location, with lots of great pizza places within a few blocks, with prices to die for. $5 cdn for a tasty pizza. You know you're not in Paris when dinner sets you back $10. Banka Bystrica is a gem - check it out.

Since the hotel was built in a blocky-cement style in 1928, it had little to offer in the way of elegance or bling. Other than that, it was exactly what it advertised to be - a decent place to stay in a central location.

Booked in for 5 nights and enjoyed my stay very much.I was given the Apartment Room on the 1st floor which was excellent,and equipped with a large television,sofa,mini bar and a very comfortable bed.The staff were friendly and excellent with English spoken.Breakfast was excellent with everything that you needed.The restuarant also served lovely food and beer.The Mesto railway station is very close by as is the lovely city square.Yes a superb holiday in this part of Slovakia.

Superb facilities for the price - you would gladly pay twice as much for this standard further West. Clean, comfortable and quiet room with flat screen TV and BBC News for us English speakers.Clean towels every day. An interesting selection for breakfast with hot and cold dishes available. I had a pleasant evening meal in the restaurant - mneu in English too.

I don'r like to say anything against really but bring your own tea and coffee making facilities - I always do in mainland Europe!

Pobyt som mala veľmi krátky-len jednu noc.Personál bol veľmi slušný.Izba veľmi pekná a pohodlná.Krásne zariadená reštaurácia.

Le rapport qualité prix des services, le prix bien trop important par rapport à la Slovaquie et sur ebooking, le manque de propositions d'établissements

Architektúra budovy, kaviareň. Na čom by hotel mohol stavať - je čo najviac sa štylizovať do pôvodnej podoby v čase, keď bol postavený. Má príjemnú atmosféru. Pozitívne prekvapil tiež pestrý výber jedla na raňajky.
