the location, the quality of the room, the good breakfast buffet

The young staff was friendly and versatile (the same woman who was on duty at reception when we arrived also worked the cafe' and, with the chef, escorted our bags to the room). The location was convenient to the center of Banska Bystrica. We were offered an Internet connection.

The cafe' food was average at best. The location turned out to be a mile from the train station, and we weren't warned to have Euros on hand when we arrived from the Czech Republic. The town itself was unexciting.

The room at the hotel are great - although make sure you dont get rooms 216-217 as these are very very hot. There is no airconditioing and the windows (which thankfully you can open) get the sun all day and face an area bounded by high buildings on 3 sides. There is a lot of construction going on at present so it is noisy from 7 am. But the rooms are very well appointed and outfitted in art deco style to suit the building. Wifi connection was reliable and fast. Breakfast while ample was standard.

The exterior of the hotel would put most people off. It needs serious maintenance and upgrading. The public areas also need more attention - particularly the carpet on the stairs. There is no lift in this building.

The Staff were very friendly, rooms clean and comfortable. I would sty there again.

Recently renovated to a high standard for the price. Very close to the main square.

Because of early departure I got a very early breakfast 2 days.

Staff members doesn't speak English. We had problems with checking in and checking out. Also it's hard to find somebody there during the night. If you travel with pets they don't say that it cost 16 EUR per pet and charge you on check out. Breakfast was awful. They don't have even tea.

The renewed rooms are really nice and comfortable.

They served meals only until 8:00pm, then the kitchen is closed.

Läget passade för denna resa. Restaurangen var godkänd. Rummet var rent och komfortabelt. Omgivningen är bra och centralt belägen nära till restauranger och shopping.

Ingen hiss. Bullrigt mellan 07.00-17.00 p.g.a. närliggande byggnation eller renovering.

Ligging in centrum; na ervaring met entree was kamer verrassend netjes (gerenoveerd); badkamer met aparte toiletruimte; redelijk tot goed ontbijt

Aankomst was 'schrikken'; hotel leek verpauperd en gesloten. Bleek pas om 14.00 uur open te gaan op zondag. Entree en receptie zagen er bedroevend en zeer gedateerd uit.Geen lift aanwezig. Slechte verlichting en weinig aflegruimte in badkamer.

Ochota personálu, velmi dobrá kuchyně, velmi výhodné umístění opravdu v centru města a současně poměrně tiché prostředí.
