“ Friendly athmosphere, excellent service. The staff was very helpful with helping us with our sons, the place is ideal for families with small kids. The location was perfect for us as we wanted to avoid crowded/noisy places. The Tatranska Polianka cable train station is very close to the hotel and the most spectacular places (Strebske Pleso, Stary Smokovec, Tatransaka Lomnica) can be reached within 20 minutes by train. Also, the trains passing by was a great amusement for our kids. ”

The Hotel Palace Tivoli is located in peaceful surroundings in the heart of the High Tatras, at the foot of the highest mountain, Gerlachovský (8,710 ft). The renovated historic building, dating from 1902, still features its original charm and offers elegantly furnished non-smoking rooms with up-to-date amenities. You can enjoy the view of the High Tatras from the northern side of the hotel or of the Low Tatras from the south side. Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms free of charge. The sunny and cozy restaurant with view of the Low Tatras and a charming summer terrace offers delicious cuisine and first-class Moravian wines. Half and full board are available as well in the Hotel Palace Tivoli. Tatranská Polianka is situated between Štrbské Pleso (8 miles) and Tatranská Lomnica, a few miles from Starý Smokovec (3 miles). The train station is a 5 minute walk from the Hotel Palace Tivoli. Transportation to and from the Poprad airport is available and the hotel can book airline tickets for you (direct flights London - Poprad/Tatry, Prague - Poprad/Tatry). Good location. Would recommend the location to everyone, but would suggest you find somewhere else to stay, this place was a disaster for us. Not expected despite having confirmed reservation. Extra bed not made up in the room despite being part of the reservation. Tried to charge extra for breakfast despite being included in the price. Long tome to get served in the restaurant. Unable to get a cup of coffee after the meal because the machine was turned off. And so it goes on...

The owner (you can call her when the problem occurs) does her work very well, she is kind, friendly and takes care about clients trying to find someone who solves your problem. But the staff are not at the level of their boss. If you don't have the owner's phone number on hands, it is possible that nobody will help you - they reside somewhere but not at their places...

Hotel Palace Tivoli has a very good location, it is next to the electric railway station. For its price we received luxurious conditions, ensuite room with an indoor balcony and a nice Swedish style breakfast. The hotel staff was very helpful with our extended requests. We arrived late in the evening when the restaurant was already closing but still we could have a dinner. Also they arranged a locker room for us where we could keep our stuff while hiking in Vysoke Tatry. They also helped us with small things that made our stay more comfortable. There were only small discomforts. We found the plastic card key system a little hard to use - if one of us left the room with the key card, the lights went off because it also worked with the same card. Also the corridor door worked with this card so we could only move together inside the hotel. There was also a slight misunderstanding. We ordered a shuttle car to take us to Sliezsky Dom. Everything was arranged nicely but we weren't told that the car waits for us at a remote parking place. So we waited at the hotel, the car waited at the parking place, and it took us a while until we could figure out the mistake.

Затишок і досить тепло!!! Хороша звукоізоляція Кухня і постійно брудний кухар чи то пак помічник кухаря! Ні в якому разі не замовляйте сніданки!!! Краще взяти електрочайник, купити продукти в маркеті в Ст Смоковці (нище по дорозі) - і сніданок, повірте нам, буде дешевше і смачніше, ніж за 6 євро з ос. Пообідати і повечеряти можна смачно і дешево в їдальні швидкого харчування в тому ж таки Смоковці ( приблизно 6 км від готелю)

nič. problemy pri ubytovani, objednal som si separatne postele, dostal som manzelske,.... kamaratovi hrozilo, ze ho neubytuju, napriek tomu, ze mal izbu rezervovanu, neakceptuju platobnu kartu, nedostal som uctenku za platbu, milý ale totalne neschopny personal, pocetne totalne poddimenzovaný, jedna pani robí zaroven veducu, aj recepcnu, aj casnicku, ...obsluha v restauracii v civilnom obleceni, maličké izby...comedy hotel Tivoli, nikdy viac.

dobrá poloha pre klientov bez auta v tesnej blízkosti železničky, rekonštrukcia kúpelne a izby ihneď pri príchode zinkasuje recepčný peniaze v hotovosti bez ohľadu na počet nocí, čistota v izbe - nad posteľou obrovská pavučina, na podlahe v izbe zbytky orieškov, pokazený vypínač pri posteli, nefungujúci tv ovládač - nebolo komu oznámiť, ráno v deň odchodu som čakala na recepcii do pol 11h - nikto neprišiel,absolútny nezáujem o klienta

Pekne zrekonštruované izby Nie su dotiahnuté detaily. Hlavne v reštaurácii a na terase. Personál by sa mal viac usmievať a byť v nejakej rovnošate.

Dobre położenie dla osób lubiących spokój I ciszę. Dobre wyposażenie dla turysty wychodzącego w góry. Good location for those who like peace and quiet. Good facilities for tourists coming out to the mountains. Nie kupuj śniadania przez Booking.com. Dostaniesz bułkę, kawałek serka, łyżeczkę dżemu I 5 g masła. Na miejscu będziesz musiał dopłacić 3 Euro. I tak zabiorą Ci widelec I nóż jak za dużo zjesz! Do not buy breakfast by Booking.com. You'll get a bun, a piece of cheese, a spoonful of jam, and 5 g of butter. On site you will have to pay 3 euros. So take your fork and knife to eat too much!

Dobra lokalizacja przy stacji elektriczki (o dziwo, nie było słychać kolejki ani pobliskiej drogi). Przyjemny pokói I miła obsługa. Ciasno w pokoju.

Perfect location for hiking, easily accessible via train, nice room and bath room, good price compared to quality of room Low quality of breakfast, not possible to pay with card, cash payment for breakfast every morning, restaurant with loud music - hotel good for sleeping, but not for dining/leasuring

Room cleanliness, hotel is close to the main road and the train stop too. Complimentary wire internet Unprofessional staff. No dining - had to go to another town to have a dinner. Small, uncomfortable shower. Very soft mattress

The prices was enormous high (because level of hotel and the restaurant was not so good) for the meals and drinks in the hotel restaurant. We didn't used to eat in our hotel. Hotel staff were trying to make money from everything...
