Road to town is a straight busy road, but it's only a 10 minute walk so not a problem.

Staff is extremely kind, polite, they are flexible in everything (24h reception, breakfast time etc.), rooms are clean, there is own parking area. Many services free of charge: wifi, parking, pets.

Only thing is not the best the street where the pension is. Everything is close (city centre, bus stop, train etc.), but the street is as if an industrial area.

Nice friendly staff. The breakfast was good. Tea and coffee making facility in the room which is not standard in this part of the world.

The furniture in the room and the reception area could be upgraded a bit.

Penzión Tiberia was scored 9.2 based on 106 reviewers at the time I made the booking. After staying in the pension for one night I am wondering what they liked about this hotel, because I did find even one good thing. It is an old hotel, with old furniture and bathroom that should be renovated long time ago. You could move freely in the room without bumping your head in the roof ceiling. The toilet was dirty and it seems that they forget to clean them after the previous guest. We were a family of four so we required to book two rooms that their price together was relatively high in comparison to other pension we booked. I will not recommended anyone to stay in this pension.

Very nice small hotel in a quiet area about 5-10 minutes walk from the city center. Also located about 5-10 minutes walk from the city train and bus stations. Trencin is a small city which is easy for walking and which is dominated by the ancient castle looming above the town. The double room that I stayed in was large and very clean, with a large bathroom area and a lot of storage space. Breakfast was not extensive in terms of choice, but one nice thing was that a menu of 12-15 breakfast items was available to choose from that included both hot and cold entrees. So the breakfast entree was made up fresh. The owners were quite nice and helpful and both speak good English. They are passionate touring bikers and they very much encourage bikers to stay at their hotel. I had a very nice stay here for a weekend and was able to enjoy the annual summer cultural festival as a nice plus.

The people working at this guest house were lovey! Some spoke English, others didn't, but were all really helpful and smiley. The room was HUGE! From the outside the building just looked like a normal house, but inside it was more like a grand Victorian terrace house. Spotlessly clean too. Breakfast was cooked to order and really tasty. Overall very impressed with Penzion Tiberia and might go back in the Spring!

The location is easy to find and just a 10 minute walk into the center of old city. The price was exceptional and the breakfast was also outstanding. In addition to the regular breakfast fare found in most European facilities you were offered a chance to order an entree from a large selection of eggs and omlets. The off street parking in a secure lot made it possible to feel comfortable leaving some of our luggage in the vehicle overnight.

Their idea of a double bed is two singles pushed together.

Very friendly reception and excellent breakfast (included). The hosts did not speak English but it was not a problem. The pension was easy to find, approx. 10 min walk from the train station. The room was large and clean, with good shower and toilet and a comfortable bed. There was no airconditioning but it did not get very hot in the room even though outside it was 35°C. Lots of foreign TV channels as well. Definately recommended! The highlight of our holiday!

Adorable little pension. The owners were extremely nice and helpful and despite the fact that english wasn't their strong point, they still managed to communicate perfectly with us. Rooms were very comfortable, finished to a very high standard. Breakfast was made to order, which is very nice. There is also a small private parking lot in the yard, which gives that extra peace of mind.

Delightful place - really friendly host who spoke god English. My room was spacious and well furtnished with good linen and all was spotless. Doors to the rooms are a bit odd add they are padded - makes one feel one is in a loony-bin - but it adds to the character. Breakfast good complete with proper coffee. Position very quiet and easy to park - a 10 min walk to the old town. Very good value.

Rather poor breakfast, but hospitality is invaluable!

Man muss 10 Minuten rechnen um zu Fuss ins Zentrum der Stadt zu gelangen. Zum Bahnhof 5 Minuten. Das Personal war sehr nett. Die Zimmer sind modern und modisch eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet war klein aber fein. Man kann von einer Frühstückskarte etwas bestellen (Sandwiches, Ei, Toasts, Käseteller,...). Preisleistungsverhältnis sehr gut!

милый отель, замечательный хозяин марио, который говорит по русски, и всегда готов помочь во всём. хороший завтрак, парковка в закрытом дворе отеля. всё очень чисто и уютно. останавливались на ночлег по дороге в австрию.
