A beautiful place. Lovely coffee shops (give TIC a try), great places to eat, super wine tasting opportunities and all at a nice easy pace. Plenty of super hotels to stay in and reasonably priced compared to home (NI). Came here last year for a nieces wedding and brought a cousin back this year to explore a bit more of Prešov. We took a car and stayed up the mountains (tatras) for a couple of nights which was worth doing. It’s different but still extremely homely.

The buildings in the main square are nicely restored and maintained in good condition. With the many outdoor cafe terraces, the church, the houses with passages and columns of flowers (petunias?) there is a pleasant atmosphere about. The old synagogue is nicely restored.

We came for a youth handball cup. We did not see too much from the City. What we saw is not too Fabó ülő s in the City. The nature around is beautiful. On spring and summer I would like to come back by bike.

A smaller town, easy to navigate. Beautiful architecture, great TI. Lovely countryside with interesting castle ruins and huge Opal mines. Not touristy.
Great quality meals for good value at "Dobre Casy" Restaurant a brewpub in a cellar on Slovenska street.

Presov is very nice town with all tourists facilities or opportunities which is not developed to the international standards, maybe the lack of involvement or poor competency in the tourism industry, I did see some intolerable acts of racism against their ethnic minority. Personally I was well treated.

Small town but with some very quint buildings & beautiful churches.
We stayed here because there are many great castles to see in this area.
A must see also is the salt mine museum; truly fascinating.
Not so many good restaurants to choose from but there were enough & the service was both friendly & attentive.
Very nice, cozy hotel with great location in the city center. The room was sparkling clean with all needed for comfortable stay. Cleaning is everyday. Free parking is available for guests. Hearty breakfasts were tasty and varied. The service is at the highest level, the staff was extremely helpful, friendly and attentive to our requests. We had a great time, and highly recommend Penzión Tavel.
We'll definitely stay here next time when visit Prešov.
Old good mexiko( stare dobre mexiko), near hotel is a restaurant of high quality and good beer. They know how to make a beer also for germans/czech gourmet people. Hotel was otherwise clean, room big and relatively modern. Lower floor was under construction. Parking is available but so badly approachable and explained...do something with it
Location of the hotel in the city centre, next to a shopping center and own parking lot was great. The room was spacious with big windows and balcony, very bright. The breakfast was good, tasty, and satisfied our requirements, although the menu was limited. The staff is friendly and forthcoming.
Penzion is located in a quiet place, very modern. I appreciated very good wifi connection and good place to work. It is not always like that even at five stars hotels.
Lady who owns the pension was very nice and helpful.
I can recommend both for business trips and for a holiday break.
What I saw in the picture is not what I saw there bad smelling room and bathroom stink badly bed sheets and everything dirty I couldn’t even sleep that night I walked out to look for another hotel to sleep it was bad really amateur
Excellent place to stay in Presov. Close to Main Street, lots of restaurants and things to do all close by. The host was attentive and very approachable. We loved our stay here and highly recommend :)
Staff wasnt nice. We arrived to the hotel at the night (what have send a message about many hours earlier) and waiting for about 40 minutes just for somebody open the door. The food was very bad.
Great looking rooms and hotel overall! Delicious and plentiful breakfast and tasty coffee! Service at reception and bar was impeccable for such a small hotel! Would stay again if ever in Presov!
Wonderful stay! Very warm welcome and great communication by the owner, great location, nice premises, and very clean. When in Prešov again, I will definitely stay here.
We had to change our travel plans and the hotel was very flexible to change our reservation. Good restaurant & a nice inside pool were appreciated by the whole family.
