Comfortable beds Great location
Paid wifi Breakfast not until 8 am
Location, free wifi, price
Great location, excellent value for the money. lowest price hotel in the neighborhood. Not luxurious, modest, but absolutely clean and safe.
The location could not be better. Just by the President's Palace. Nice staff. My room was facing the courtyard. It was very large. There are tea making facilities in the room, and also in the lobby. Free Wifi worked fine for me.
The smell of air freshener in the room was very disturbing to me. The bathroom is cold because there is no heating there. Just before 5am, I woke up because there was a lot of noise under my window in the courtyard. It sounded like banging of rubbish bins. It was really loud. Impossible not to wake up.
Excellent location and value for money.
Good location, near the old city. We received detailed information about how to get to the hotel immediately after the booking, which was very useful. Big room and bathroom, comfortable bed. The rooms are much better than you would guess judging by the other facilities in the hotel.
There were no toiletries. Only liquid soap for hand-washing. There was not support for the shower and no support for shampoo inside the shower area. Very small elevator.
Location, helpful staff, city view
Rooms and exterior need to be refreshed
Location Room size
Breakfast not available until 8 am
Nice staff, good location.
Cleaning lady screaming at the door from 8AM!
I liked all
Good central location, price is reasonable, for a not too high fee there is safe parking behind locked gates, though about 150 meters from the hotel.
The drunken audience of the pub right under the window was unbearably loud with their singing long after midnight.
great location, peaceful.
The reception doesnt work 24 hour. I think it is very bad for hostel that is placed in the city centre.
The Pension is very well located, in the side of the presidential palace. And is possible see the Bratislava castle from some rooms windows. The place is about 10-15 minutes walking from the main touristic points. The bedroom is great, have a large space, good bed, bathroom and TV. Towels in given from the staff. Free coffee, hot chocolate and wifi. The breakfast is paid, but a fair price.
The bad point for me was the lift, that was really old, and the shower, which did not stand to place hanging over the head. Bur nothing impossible to cope with.
We booked triple room, when we6 arrived turned out that they preppared for us room with just one double bed, after our protest they changed the room, but still not the best place to stay at . . .
Good location and possibility for car parking.
It is a hostel! Other guests were having a party in the next room.
great placement and price
no double mattress on the double bed
Reception staff had excellent english and knowledge of the area. Free hot drinks!!! And champagne was cheap and tasty!!
The location is 2 stops from the train station (bus), the old town and castle are in walkable distance. The hostel has a strange entrance but the staff was okay and helpful. The room was spacious, the bathroom was clean but old.
Although the receptionist was good and helpful during the day, I had to leave early in the morning around 7:30, when I went to check-out I found that the reception is closed till 8am (I've never seen a reception opens that late). The same guy came out (after finishing his shift) and I told him that I want to check-out and pay, he got mad and left me saying "it's not my business". I had to catch the train, they give option to drop-off key in the box but how can I pay! I had to leave cash with the key in the box and leave to catch the train, it would have been better if the same guy notified me the night before that the reception opens at 8am and asked me to pay in advance, not being rude and leaving me alone without a hint. I also called the number and no one replied, I'm glad that I had cash to leave in the box and later I sent them email to see if they found it. I didn't like their confusing opening hours! I understand that the receptionist works around 16 hours, but he can't tell a tourist "it's not my business" when he asks him to check out! Whose business is it then?
Everything was good, room was clean, the staff were nice.
Rooms are really clean, free coffe location is the best
There is no hot water in the nights
The room was big, toilet was very clean, bed was very big(king size). We didn't expect to have balcony in our room, unfortunately we didn't have the oppurtunity to enjoy the balcony because it was cold and snowing outside. The location is very good, near city centre(walking distance) public transport is also near if you have to take one.
The walls aren't really soundproof. I heard clearly what my neighbours were 'doing'. The heating system was okay (only half of the heater was warm?). The elevator is very old school (very small and quite scary)
very hard bed free wifi only if brekfast menu breakfast / not buffet
It was close to the city center, but still on a quiet place, best for those who just want to sleep in the room and enjoy the city.
There was blood on the bed
proximity to centre ,,, free tea and coffee ..nice cafe attached ,,, great prices
nothing really ,, room a bit warm but opened window a tiny bit .. not really a compliant to b honest
Easy to find following the directions Pension Petit sent by mail. The room was well heated.
The breakfast was very modest, portions were children-sized. Internet is not really free: you either pay 1 euro/day for internet access or you take breakfast for 2.7 euro/day, which includes "free" wi-fi. There was a surcharge for using the credit card as well (2.5 euro).
