We must have got a special rate, since the prices quoted at the hotel were much higher than what we got through Booking.com. Rooms were really nicely decorated, clean, and the location excellent.

Excellent in all respects: central location within historic town, well maintained period building, good restaurant, comfortable bed and relaxing large room with good work desk.

Internet is available wired (cable provided) or wireless in rooms but the connection frequently failed on both. More importantly, the service is unsecured which is a serious weakness for business users. A good reading light would be helpful at the bedside.

Excellent location, beautiful rooms, helpfull staff.

We stayed for New Year in a double room. The hotel is located in the very center of the old town of Bratislava. The room was large, cosy, very well equipped and extremely comfortable: huge bed, huge bathroom with a bathtub, big lcd tv, dvd and cd player, minibar, kitchenette, ... We were also offered a free bottle of wine for the New Year. The breakfast was very good, with a large choice of fresh products and a very polite and pleasant service. The rest of the day, the breakfast room actually turns into a very nice restaurant, serving excellent food. But surprisingly, the staff in the restaurant were great on the 1st January, but very unpleasant on the 2nd (not the same people). Overall, it was still an excellent experience and we will try to come back if we come without a car.

Take note that there is no parking in or around the hotel, so this hotel will be more adequate for people without a car. The staff at the desk was not particularly helpful when we checked-in on 31st December: we did not receive any information about the hotel or the city on our arrival and could see no happiness in the person there (no smile at all). We discovered only afterwards that the hotel has a spa. Also, when we were leaving, we asked them to book a taxi and they proposed the taxi of the hotel, which is much more expensive than the normal city taxi! The Room we had was on the top floor and the windows were actually velux windows on the ceiling, which could not be shaded properly against the sun in the morning; I can imagine this can be even more of a trouble in summer time... There is also some issue with the heating of such a big room on the top floor: it was simply cold at night!

The atmosphere inside our room was really warm and romantic, perfect to enjoy your time with your darling .I liked the furnitures and the style. The location is exactly in the center of the city but in our room on the 3th floor any external noise could disturb us .

Location was really good, you are right in the middle of old town - everything is accessbile from this point, the staff were friendly, the rooms were gorgeous, it was just really good
