The location was superb. We often ate just outside the hotel as the street cafes were wonderful. We had a lovely stay because it was uncomplicated. The hotel worked smoothly for us, Best of all - the beds were so comfortable. No breakfast tea in room

A very enjoyable stay at this hotel.Staff helpful and welcoming.Great location on one of the main streets in centre of Braislava.We walked everywhere!Close to all main sights and main square.We used the sauna and were pleased with it.The room was very spacious with a sitting area as well as large comfy beds.Bathroom good size too,with some toiletries included.Great shower.Good choice for breakfast,hot and cold choices,pleasant staf in restaurant too.We stayed 5 nights here and would recommend it and return.Thanks for a lovely first visit to Slovakia. The only small issue we had was the room is very hot!There is air conditioning unit in the room but I dont like using them too much,found could be a little too hot sometimes.No way for us to turn the heat down ourselves,was a mystery to us where all this heat came from,haha.The radiator under the window never felt hot. We were there in low season,at beginning of january,so very quiet in the streets outside,but can get noisy with the window open.

We stayed for New Year in a double room. The hotel is located in the very center of the old town of Bratislava. The room was large, cosy, very well equipped and extremely comfortable: huge bed, huge bathroom with a bathtub, big lcd tv, dvd and cd player, minibar, kitchenette, ... We were also offered a free bottle of wine for the New Year. The breakfast was very good, with a large choice of fresh products and a very polite and pleasant service. The rest of the day, the breakfast room actually turns into a very nice restaurant, serving excellent food. But surprisingly, the staff in the restaurant were great on the 1st January, but very unpleasant on the 2nd (not the same people). Overall, it was still an excellent experience and we will try to come back if we come without a car. Take note that there is no parking in or around the hotel, so this hotel will be more adequate for people without a car. The staff at the desk was not particularly helpful when we checked-in on 31st December: we did not receive any information about the hotel or the city on our arrival and could see no happiness in the person there (no smile at all). We discovered only afterwards that the hotel has a spa. Also, when we were leaving, we asked them to book a taxi and they proposed the taxi of the hotel, which is much more expensive than the normal city taxi! The Room we had was on the top floor and the windows were actually velux windows on the ceiling, which could not be shaded properly against the sun in the morning; I can imagine this can be even more of a trouble in summer time... There is also some issue with the heating of such a big room on the top floor: it was simply cold at night!

The atmosphere inside our room was really warm and romantic, perfect to enjoy your time with your darling .I liked the furnitures and the style. The location is exactly in the center of the city but in our room on the 3th floor any external noise could disturb us .

Location!!!! And very confortable room, very large for Europe and even American standards! Modern look with historical cachet. Smokers are allowed in some area and it's smell in lobby and corridor (but not in te room).

It is a beautiful hotel and the food was good but we were very disappointed with the service. We spoke to a few staff members but the answers were short and unfriendly. It costs nothing to smile at customers and thank them when thez leave the hotel.

Location was all you could ask for -- right on Mickalska Street in the heart of the old pedestrian zone. Lovely large room -- very bright, clean, spacious and modern. Very quiet. Excellent breakfast buffet. Friendly, helpful staff. Will definitely stay here again!
