The 5-star Thermia Palace spa hotel is nestled within the wonderful ambience of the Spa Island of Piestany, offering a historic atmosphere an up-to-date facilities.
While restoring this Art Nouveau building to its former glory much of the interior was preserved, including the weighty crystal chandeliers, painted stucco decoration and window panes.
Together with the Irma Health Spa, the Thermia Palace provides ideal conditions for spa stays throughout the whole year.
Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms free of charge.
The buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.
There is a minimum stay of 13 days applicable for the Traditional Spa Stay. There is a minimum stay of 6 days applicable for the Intensive Spa Stay.
A peacock – the sacred bird of the Greek goddess Hera and a symbol of immortality and nobility – became a symbol of hotel Thermia Palace thanks to an ancient story about the healing powers of the springs in Piešťany.
The richly decorated interior of Thermia Palace hosts many remarkable architectural and artistic features. The 2 most prominent elements are the staircase with stained glass windows and the Grand Restaurant with an invaluable painting by Alphonse Mucha who donated the picture to the spa as a gift for curing his daughter.
The hotel is situated near the Irma Health Spa centre. Irma Health Spa provides medical and therapeutic services of the highest standard. The therapeutic methods used are just as unique as the original thermal springs and sulfuric mud of Piešťany. Irma Health Spa provides medical and wellness treatments and lots of possibilities to improve your health.
The Palace offers 111 luxurious, air-conditioned rooms - including 15 suites - equipped with many modern amenities. In the deluxe rooms our guests will find a small gift, daily newspaper, and a turn down service in the evening.
The spa’s Social Centre offers guests the possibility to become acquainted with the history as well as the present times of the Spa Island. Visit interesting places in the surroundings of Piešťany, travel to known as well as less well-known parts of Slovakia. All offered trips are published monthly in the Social Centre bulletin with detailed instructions which are available at the reception desk of each spa hotel.
In summer guests can take an attractive boat ride on the River Váh and Lake Sĺňava. An archeologically interesting place is Čertova pec, 15 km from the spa. During the Ice Age it was settled by prehistoric people.
The nearby castle ruins of Tematín, Beckov and Čachtice will remain in the memories of guests as places where time stands still and where the walls whisper eternal legends about the cruel owners and bloody Countess Báthory.
Trnava, the "Slovak Rome”, as well as the town of Nitra, are attractive with their beautiful religious architecture from various periods and different building types. The town of Trenčín with its stunning castle built on a high rock is described in many legends.
The capital city of Slovakia, Bratislava, lies on both banks of the River Danube. Bratislava Castle with its extraordinary view over the blue Danube dominates the capital city. It was the place of coronation of 19 Hungarian kings. You can visit Michael’s Gate, the Gothic St. Martin's Cathedral, the Clock Museum, the Town Hall with a museum, the Slovak National Theatre, the Church of St. Elizabeth (Blue Church) and exhibitions in the Mirbach Palace.

Wir waren mit Unterkunft, Betreuung, Wellness und Service sehr zufrieden.
Für ein 5-Sterne-Hotel ist die Situation zum Parken des PKW völlig unzureichend. Wir mussten unser Auto mehrere 100 Meter entfernt am Straßenrand parken.
