The only thing was the electric socket in the bathroom needed attending to as it didn't keep the hairdryer in!

My husband and I agree this was the nicest hotel experience we have had in Europe, possibly ever. The staff were extremely helpful, courteous, and friendly. We arrived via boat at 10:00 am, hours before official checkin time. They promptly upgraded up to a suite that was ready and brought us tea and coffee to the room. We dined in hotel and had a fantastic meal in an elegant setting for a very reasonable price. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

It was absolutely great...the rooms are huge and very welcoming, the Rhapsody restaurant is a gourmet's dream. There is also the possibility to rent the wellness centre for 50 eur for 2 hours (it has a 4 person jacuzzi and a small saune, but great nevertheless).

Staff were very friendly and offered us an upgrade on arrival. Really helpful and printed things to do in Bratislava on arrival. They provided a bottle of wine in our room and sparking wine at reception as we checked in. It was St. Patrick's day and they had green macroon cakes in our room and a little card wishing us a happy day. Nice to have personal touches as these are the things you always remember. Great staff, location, breakfast and a nice gym. The staff also brought lemon water into the gym for me as I was working out! Great service and lovely people, thanks for a great stay and we will be back someday :)

Nice rooms

Because of a loud party downstairs it was nearly impossible to sleep

Staff is extremely helpful and kind. Restaurant is also very good for Bratislava. It was almost empty, but they quality of food and service were really good.

I`ve read many excellent reviews, so I was disappointed to see room conditions (bathroom door broken, many things require renovation, bathroom is not so big for a suit).

The noise and vibration of the passing trams. Also was awaken by loud thumping disco noises at 3 am. The receptionist on check-in gave us permission to check out at 2 pm the next day. This was not conveyed or received by the next morning's receptionist who told us at 11:50am that we had to check out of the room by 12:00 noon. We felt like we were being kicked out and were upset with this.

Bed too hard with cheap mattress I woke up with backache

Fantastic room and service, really friendly, and very clean. An extremely good menu and food was served in the Hotel Restaurant - and again the service was well above what would be expected. Really excellent. Wish I'd more time to spend there. Great.

I have stayed in many great hotels in the world, and surprisingly the best I have stayed in was the Tulip House. Great service, amazing room, fantastic stay. Excellent.

Perfect

Tulip House Hotel is really a five stars hotel. The room is big and comfort. The staff is helpful and nice. The location is good as it takes only 2 minutes to the square.

We liked everything. Nothing could be beter and if we are going to Bratislava some time in the future we are definetily going to stay in Tulip house hotel. Everything was perfect!

It's very hot in the room AC didn't work

The staff are, obviously, well-trained. Everything was taken care of with no fuss. The room was very large and well-furnished. The position of the hotel is excellent for both the city and the river. We will stay there again.

We were deciding between two hotels for this trip to Bratislava. We tossed a coin and my husband won, and I was really glad he did. This hotel is central to everything. Turn right out of the front door and its a 5 minute walk to the Port where we took a Hydrofoil to Vienna and if you turn left and 5 minute walk into the square with fabulous restaurants. I loved this hotel, the staff couldn't do enough for you and the breakfast is amazing. Will go back.

This is the best hotel that we have stayed in during our 6 weeks in Europe. We couldn't have faulted it even if we tried. The staff were friendly and helpful and we were made to feel like royalty. The hotel has a luxury modern design and is in a central location only a few minutes walk to the historic old town and the Danube river.

What a wonderful surprise! The suite was big enough for a cricket match, a pleasant change from other 5star hotels in europe. The staff could not have been more helpful. The dinner in the hotel restaurant was exceptional and the breakfast was of the highest quality, far better than experienced in some of the best London hotels. I have never given any hotel such a strong recommendation.
