Inexpensive. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent proximity to hockey arena. Hockey bar next door was nice.

Nothing. I got what I paid for. If you want champagne and caviar, go across the street to the hilton for over double the price.

The hotel is in a quiet side-street just off the main road which has great transport links to the centre of town. It is within a few minutes walking distance to the main bus line that links the airport to the main station. The hotel room was quite basic but adequately comfortable and with a good shower, separate from the wc. The breakfast menu was inexpensive and had sufficient choice to suit most tastes. Good omelettes and scrambled eggs. Tasty bread and rolls are provided free of charge - you just pay for the selection of jams etc. The foyer has a drinks machine for hot chocolate, coffee etc - again very inexpensive. The staff were polite and able to answer all of our questions. Local transport by bus or tram is very inexpensive and frequent with journeys to the old town taking around 15 minutes.

We visited in the third week of October. The public areas of the hotel were warm but there didn't seem to be much heat in our room or a way of regulating the radiator. This was not really an issue for sleeping as the duvets were warm enough. However, it might have been more of a problem if the weather had been colder or wet. Overall, it was not too much of an issue.

We really enjoyed the reciprocity between amount of money and the luxury we got. We didn't expect that hotel with one star could be so much pleasure. If we return to Bratislava, we sure will re-visited it again!

The best thing at Hotel Turist is very fast internet connection, for free of course, while at Sheraton you had to pay 15 euros per hour for using the web. This was important to me since I was in Bratislava on business. Also, the hotel is very close to Sibamac arena, and other sports venues in the city, which is convenient for those who come to Bratislava for sports activities. Everything is clean, the building is being renovated which is a positive thing, and the reception desk is at your disposal 24 hours a day.

The television in my room, and every other room is terrible. It's too small, old and not practical. There are only two power sockets in the whole room, which is insufficient if there are two of you in the room - both of them are already used, one for TV, the other for refrigerator. When I stayed in the hotel, many children came there to stay for the night on some excursion, and they were extremely noisy, they yelled, slammed the doors from 6AM to 9AM, and nobody from the hotel stuff didn't want to interfere, nor to quite them down. The breakfast is not buffet, but you order food from the menu - up to 3 EUR (omelette + tea is maximum for that price), and any additional glass of juice or anything else has to be paid for.

Az ár alapján és a csillag besorolás alapján a vártakat felülmúlta. Kellemes meglepetés volt a számunkra.Csendes,tiszta,és a kiszolgálás rugalmas és kifogástalan.Meg voltunk elégedve mindennel.

La habitacion muy grande y con nevera. Muy limpio. Todas tienen un pequeño balcon. El parking gratuito esta muy bien. El personal del hotel era muy amable. The room was very big, with fridge and a small balcony. Very clean. The free parking was good. The staff from the hotel very nice.

Que cobraran 10€ la noche por el perro me parecio un poco exagerado. 10€ per night for the dog is a bit expensive.

Vynikající ubytování pro návštěvu večerní akce v zimním stadionu O. Nepely - hotel je od haly vzdálen cca 5 minut pěšky, recepce otevřena 24 hodin denně, do 200 m od hotelu je obchod s potravinami a výborná restaurace.
