The location and hotel staff were pleasant. The bedrooms are very basic even though we upgraded to a deluxe room, the beds are very firm like sleeping on the floor ! The breakfast was very poor and very limited and the air conditioning was not working properly and did not cool the room adequately. The location was great for exploring San Marino which is a beautiful historical town. |

We met an American lawyer who was working there over the summer and he recommended the restaurant, and the food was excellent and the discount appreciated, the desk clerk who checked us in was very helpful, the room was clean and very nice. It was the first time we encountered a converter, an excellent idea. When I awoke early they were setting up the breakfast and there was no access to morning coffee. |

Loved the location though not easy to access when you do not have a car, taxi very expensive !!! Lovely and very pretty area to walk about and shop, eat.....nice location for a romantic get away.... Bed was extremley hard |

Clean, comfortable, well furnished room with good views from the lovely private terrace. Nice touches - personal "goodnight pack" with sweets & poem! Reception staff very helpful and speak several languages. Not impressed with the evening meal in the restaurant which was very poor. The restaurant seems to be geared to serving the hordes of visitors who descend on San Marino every day. When they left in the evening the restaurant was empty and the standard of cooking declined significantly. Breakfast, however, was very good. Beware the lack of car parking in San Marino! Parking is in a nearby public car park and day tickets available from hotel. However, I got a parking-ticket for parking incorrectly for 10 minutes while I took my bags to the hotel reception - but this was not the fault of the hotel!! |

The hotel is located right on the top of the "Monte Titano" (the rock where the city is build on) just steps away from the parking area close to the city wall, and right in the pedestrian area, as well as close to the castle. NOTE: Hotel Cesare offers less expensive parking tickets for the public parking area, therefore first Check-in at the hotel. The description at booking.com describes the hotel very well ! It's very modern, comfortable + clean (almost luxury). We very much enjoyed the large variety of food they offered in their comfortable restaurant, and the excellent service provided by their kind + friendly Neapolitan waiter. We highly appreciated the little cake we have been offered as a welcome-gift in our room. |
