I stayed with my wife and a 4-year-old son for one night. I had booked a small standard room with no extra bed. However, on arrival, I could change into a bigger room with an extra bed and little amount of extra payment by the Hotel's courteous suggestion. That's very nice choice. Room was perfectly clean and comfortable. All staffs I met were kind enough with smiling all the time. Besides, location couldn't be better. Just 10meter from public parking place and 5minutes from Guaita, the first fortress of San Marino. I have experienced lots of Hotels in Italy and I'd like to say Hotel Cesare is the best.

Very good hotel, very good location

Excellent central location with wonderful rooftop views from our balcony. Friendly efficient service at reception on checking in and out. Clean, comfortable room. We ate in the Hotel restaurant and were treated extremely courteously with attentive service and helpful advice on choosing our wine. Breakfast on the terrace was relaxed and of high quality. We would love to have stayed longer but could only leave our children to fend for themselves for 1 night (14, 17 and 21 so not too hazardous)

No complaints whatsoever. Some people may consider it a problem not to have parking directly outside the Hotel but we had no issues with that.

Excellent location in the middle of San Marino easy walk to the castle

The rooms facing the street are a bit noisey with the street in the evening and first thing in the morning. Hotel Rosa is much quieter location.

The hotel is right in the centre of San Marino, close to all restaurants, shops, and tourist attractions. The building is well kept and is located near a public parking lot, for which the hotel provides a cheap flat-rate ticket (recommended). The staff is very friendly and helpful in case of need and the room and bathroom was in quite good shape.

The price was, in all honesty, a bit high, especially considering that the room was not very big and that it did not possess any special feature (view, furniture, etc.). Overall, the bed was not particularly comfortable and air conditioning was difficult to manage (a bit cold).

Very nice hotel, romantic atmosphere, nice and friendly staff. Seems to be a nice example of a family-owned hotel (I could be wrong here). The rooms are not to big, the bathroom is a bit small, but overall everything is very welcoming and with a warm atmosphere. The rooms have ac, minibar, slippers (no bathrobes unfortunately). We got a great room - 106 - it's the room with an astonishing view of the valley and a terrace with two sunbeds, two chairs and a table, seems to be the largest room in the hotel. Doesn't have a bath, only a shower. The receptionist lady was very nice, gave us a lot of coupons for shops/museums. We actually saved around 20 Euros just on museum entry tickets. The hotel is situated fabulously very close to all the attractions, actually I couldn't think of a better place for a hotel in the whole city. Breakfast was good. Closest parking is p6, if it is full try to go for p7 (also rather close). P6 is a minute walking to the hotel. If you have the opportunity - before paying for the parking (you can as a solution leave your partner in it) go to the hotel - they will give you a ticket that costs 50% of the parking in the city. Valid at any of the parking areas, very convenient. If you collect "visas"/stamps in the passport - you can get them in the tourist centre which is close to the hotel for a few Euros. Overall San Marino seems to be cheaper than Italy and the hotel is a great place to live in while visiting the city. We had one day for the visit, which we found to be not enough. Would definitely return to the hotel/city.

Fantastic location in the heart of San Marino. Easy access to restaurants, cafe's and shops. Had hotel room with terrace which greatly improved sunbathing.

Breakfast was average.

Great location with a public carpark within 50m. Fantastic views to the west and right on one of the main streets up to the 3 towers of san marino. Very good breakfast and the hotel restaurant is one of the best.

Can be a bit pricey in high season.

Have stayed here 3 times, our Hotel of choice for all San Marino visits.

We don't like that we can't visit more often!!!

The location was perfect. The staff were very welcoming. The room was clean but a bit on the small side, but lovely big bathroom. Not a huge choice for breakfast, but it was adequate.

We were getting married in San Marino. When we saw how great our own rooms were, we decid to hold the ceremony on the balcony. The staff was so incredibly helpful and even went to the trouble to beautifully print off a Shakespeare love sonnet before we arrived. Highly recommended!

It's position. In the middle of down town!! Wonderful!

During the night the air conditioning system didn't work, maybe because it was not in summer, but it was very hot and difficult to sleep.

The location is perfect, just a few minutes walking from Guaita. My room was nice, with a single bed and a huge bathroom. Cleaninness was great, so the service from the front desk with a very pleasant lady and at the restaurant with the waiters.

Well, the guy who took over the night shift was not friendly at all...

Help from the receptionist was exceptional

Fantastic hotel!! Very friendly staff throughout the Hotel, nothing was too much trouble for them. Ideal location if visiting San Marino old town and ideal for touring the Le Marche area of Italy. Food in the restaurant was excellent as was the service, great selection at breakfast. Parking in the old town can be tricky but the receptionist arranged parking permits for us on arrival to cover our entire stay. It has to be said that this was probably the cleanest hotel I have every stayed at, anywhere.
