Grand Hotel San Marino  

Location was perfect and the hotel restaurant was fabulous and a great bargain. Desk was very helpful and breakfast good.

We booked a standard room which was in the back facing a wall and was small and dark and outdated. We should have paid a little more for a front balcony room with the view.

Spacious comfortable room, great view, friendly personnel, good food in the restaurant, easy parking.

The main reception areas and room hallways on the first floor had a strong smell of sewers most of the time

Breakfast - Poor selection nothing hot to eat and coffee tepid. Poor selection of fruit juices and fruit and for 8 Euros a waste of money.

The location is very central - walking distance to the San Marino pedestrian zone at the very top of the hill. Rooms are comfortable and clean.

The hotel charges for parking in its garage.

Clean, big rooms, good location.

Compared with the small hotels this hotel is worse - less attention to customer convenience. The room did not burn one of the lamps, shower is in the wall and does not move.

The hotel is one of the major hotels in San Marino. It lies close to the Kursaal conference centre, and the town centre is a 5 minute walk away. The hotel has its own parking but they also have cards for street parking (4 Euro per day) which was very convenient and cheap. The hotel room was fine and most rooms have a balcony - we had a nice view of the surrounding country side. Breakfast is ok but staff a bit slow. Lunch was ok too but they tried to over-charge us. Nothing really fantastic about this hotel but nothing really bad either. What you see, is what you get.

Staff don't react well to gentle complaints (in our case the over- charging etc). They didn't explain the car could only be parked on the blue parking spaces.

Location of the hotel is very nice , just two minutes walk from the castle, The staff was very friendly and active, Room was very big, clean and tidy, with a nice washroom, Breakfast was very nice ,

excellent price-accomodation balance, as a regular traveller to San Marino, I will choose it again

The staff were extremely helpful, the room immaculate. The location could not have been better. We originally booked for one night but San Marino and the quality of the hotel made us decide to stay an extra night, and have a longer drive the next day. A buffet cooked breakfast in the breakfast included rate even if more expensive would have been good.

the location was excellent. we arrived after 6.00 and were lucky to find a parking spot outside that cost 4 euros for the night. lovely breakfast and a very large room.

The people were excellent. The shuttle was extremely necessary after traveling for over 2 weeks and so nice!

The coffee...but I'm picky and I didn't say anything cuz I was very happy with everything else. :)

The staff we extremely accomadating and professional. They gave great recommendations, the hotel restaurant staff were super helpful with adjusting the menu for a three year old, and over all super friendly.

Accomodations were comfortable, but not luxury. The location is fantastic and views for sunset viewers are out of this world.

Great staff. Excellent room and location. I will certainly recommend the Grand for people staying in San Marino.

Secure parking, and good restaurant .

We chose this hotel based on word of mouth from friends who had stayed here and because it is pet friendly. The location was perfect. It is within walking distance of lots of restaurants and exhibits, and the view of the valley is beautiful. The hotel staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and service was very fast. There is on site parking although it is cramped so I wouldn't recommend going in a large vehicle. The restaurant was tasty although the maitre d' was less so and made us feel like we were interrupting his evening when we tried to eat there one night. The bathroom was spacious and clean as was our room. Overall, it was a great stay at a great price.

The decor could use some updating.

Clean, new and located perfectly for us in San Marino.

Nothing to not like except the hotel was still under construction so our windows and balconies overlooked scaffolding and debris screens. We expected it to be finished according to the description when booking.

Завтраки очень скудные

Очень удобное расположение отеля, шаговая доступность исторического центра

Рядом с отелем идет стройка, с 7.30 начались работы и мы проснулись не по собственному желанию. Для Гранд отеля очень скудный завтрак

Отличное местоположение, прекрасные виды прямо из окна отеля. Наличие собственной поземной автостоянки.
