Right under the Rocche, looking over the valley Excellent value deal
Great location, easy to find generally very relaxed. Clean and friendly and functional. Nothing wrong with the hotel but you didn't want spend much time there.
Lacked any atmosphere, no bar to speak of but plenty of nice places nearby.
I could not get the Wi-Fi to connect
Superior front desk staff, breakfast staff. Excellent location for easily strolling the tops of Mt Titano and it's mountain top town. Meet Davide Battistini at the Titano restaurant where he's a customer; a very friendly ambassador of good will for San Marino.
Trees in front of second floor (actually third floor) patio. Really ruined the view. Get their third floor (4th) or higher for the view.
Incredibly helpful reception staff, great location, value for money and parking is only 4 euro per night when you get a voucher to use nearby parking. Clean and stylish and minutes from all the action. Good free Wi-Fi
Bed was rock hard
Location is superb, secure parking for our motorcycles.
Our room was on the back of the building at the level of the street behind so way a little noisy.
Gabriella at the front desk in the lobby was absolutely amazing--she greeted us warmly, answered a myriad of questions we had concerning San Marino, and upgraded our room to one with a fantastic view. The hotel's location is wonderful as well particularly for the walking area of San Marino. We felt comfortable parking on the street across from the hotel (nominal fee) though garage parking was also available from the hotel (quite a bit more expensive.) We also liked the breakfast buffet served at the hotel.
WiFi was a little frustrating--sometimes the connection was fine and other times it was weak or would simply drop and then we'd need to sign in again.
Location was good.
Bed was hard. Breakfast was okay. Staff seemed a bit preoccupied and not very helpful. Never rude, but just not very informative.
Convenience for old town. Took care of car. Comfort of bedroom.
Staff were a bit surly. No English language TV channels No in-room refreshment facilities Breakfast availability limited.
Exceptional view from bedroom balcony. (Superior room)
Wifi sporadic, maybe just unlucky. Breakfast quality disappointing.
the rooms are nice with oldish comfort and design
- staff was not welcoming and nor professional. before checking i asked about the breakfast and they said that it is included, which at the end was not. - our rooms was late for an hour, for what I have asked them to take our luggages to our room, which was not there three three hours...
WiFi Location Staff
Location was perfect
Standard rooms had small windows facing a wall, so were very dark and claustrophobic.
Hotel is ideally placed for visiting San Marino as it is on a minutes walk from the old town and offers fantastic views over the valley and mountains beyond. Try and get a room on the 4th floor as we were on the 3rd and the view is partially obscured by the trees across the road - from the floor above, the fitness room and roof terrace you're above the trees with clear views.
The view being partially obscured from our 3rd floor room.
Spacious rooms with large bed On the 3rd floor, small balcony with great views Very close to Old Town, useful while medieval fair was on
Room furniture was retro, with bedside room controls from the 70s Car park is under hotel down a very steep ramp, and very cramped. Some cars are lifted above others on ramps (like those used in mechanics) so you have to leave keys at reception for the valet to shuffle them round. Either on arrival or departure, front bumper was scratched but not mentioned by hotel staff.
Quality of the rooms and magnificent mountain views
Lack of a rooftop restaurant
Location is excellent at walking distance from historic center. Wi-Fi worked very well. Very convenient if guest is driving and needs to park the car.
Air conditioner in the room is directed to the bed making it uncomfortable. Service in the breakfast could be improved.
Location, location, location. Plus wonderful views.
A very professional hotel staff. Lovely location.. Had just come from Greece that was awful. Later went to Parma, not welcoming, awful restaurant .
The balcony overlooking the whole valley is great. We watched the sunset there. The hotel is located almost at the top of the city. It was a 1 minute walk into town. Parking available across the road from the hotel with special deal from the hotel. The room is also spacious.
The room design is like in the 80's. It is a big hotel. Lots of coming and going of people.
Location is perfect, clean rooms, the best choice
Breakfast is not very good.
Terrible aircondition noise, no air in room.
The female receptionist on the desk was the only nice person we spoke to,and the garage attendant was very helpful when we arrived .
The resturant staff, in particular a young man was particularly rude in his dealing with us, just a simple request for some breakfast ie;eggs and bacon (trays were empty) met with distain and a very long wait, his attitude did not improve in the evening, it would appear that we were nothing but an annoyance to him
The hotel's location is excellent... Easy walking distance to the main points of interest. Gabriella is Sterling at the front desk! The beds are also wonderful. We had a balcony which overlooked the valley and it was an incredible site. Good Wi-Fi service.
We have been traveling for over 40 days and the breakfast ranked among the worst of our trip. The coffee was so bitter it was almost undrinkable! The hotel is showing its age, although it is well-maintained.
