They had no knowledge of my booking or special request when I arrived.
Water was coming inside when it was raining. Very limited food menu.
Location, quality of room and bathroom
No double rooms available as promised. Never saw such a room. Had to call many times to get things in room
We needed to make a change due to family emergency, and they were very understanding. They made an effort to accommodate and alleviated any of your concerns. The area is secured by hotel officers that diminishes any safety concerns on the premises. The pool area is the best part. The restaurant was nice and the gift shop on the premises was as well. The exchange rate is slightly better here than at the airport. It definitely caters to more business travelers. But overall a nice place.
The rooms could have been a little more update. I had to make a room change, and the rooms on the upper floors were better overall. It is located in a busy part of town during the day and could be offsetting upon arrival but it turned out to be a fairly decent place compared to other international places I have stayed.
The restaurant was good, although the service was uneven.
I found that the hotel clearly in need of renovation.
Noting great hotel
Location, location, location. If you are looking for a cool, not overpriced city hotel with a swimming pool where you can really swim (not just dip in), don't look any further. Excellent restos and cultural attractions within walking distance. (not like from Radisson and similar and more expensive hotels on the other side of the peninsula) - The breakfast terrace is fabulous (with cute birds) and even the variety of food is great - provided that you fight for your mango/watermelon/etc. (refill was not automatic). - The standard room was spacious enough. - Our cleaning lady was nice. - Wifi worked rather well (no video though), but there is signal even next to the pool.
- The hotel is rather dated...the smell of the carpet in the corridor is not pleasant. - Most of the staff was not too friendly. Breakfast coffee/tea was always "self-served", bc the waitresses often just simply ignored us.
The staff was excellent ! very friendly and very helpful. The rooms are reasonable (sea view is lovely !). Good location and good food! would stay there again.
the swimming pool area, the reastaurant
view from my room, though supposed to ocean view,
wifi is not working all time in room
The hotel provided a great space for our two night stay. Inside the compound it was a good location for relaxing.
Didn't particularly enjoy the street scene in Dakar in the area immediately around the hotel.
staff and managers are amazing! 5 stars to staff
rooms desperate for renovation, they smeell damp and humid. Had to change almost 5 times to get to a more decent room. even with that, the dampness and humidity smell is there. The hotel rooms are barely 3 stars
I like the entire atmosphere. The pool is wonderful!! We could enjoy so much around the pool.
It will be very nice if I have more choices for the menu of the restaurants at the pool and the main in the hotel. The staff of main restaurant at night are not attentive enough.
Waiters at bar and at the breakfast are a bit slow.
perfectly located, close to center and to shore, free shuttle bus to airport
dinner in the restaurant was good but not excellent
All the staff was professionell and respectful in all senses, which is especially important when travel as a woman alone. The pool was lovely
Great hotel Excellent and helpful staff excellent location excellent pool aerea excellent breakfast buffet
Wonderful pool but it was privatised 2 of our 3 days
Pool privatised 2 of 3 days we were there. Exorbitant breakfast price
No double bed with ocean view.
Everything was cool except the wifi signal strength which wasn't strong enough in the room, though the idea of going to the lobby to send files was brilliant as I had enough time to assess other facilities within. A great spot for a memorable short break.
Drinks foods etc.Very expensive
The view on the sea. And the beautiful pool.
Hotel is in urgent need of renovation - and kitchen is poor.
