Centrally located in downtown Dakar. Extremely friendly and professional hotel staff. Good value for your money.

Rooms could use a bit of updating. I would rate this as a 3 star hotel instead of 4 star. Buffet is overpriced for the options you receive.

The swimming pool is wonderful and is like being at the beach with palms all around. The breakfast is excellent with wonderful fresh juices, pancakes and good croissants. The location is perfect for trips to Goree Island and the market all within walking distance. And the restaurant of Hotel Farid is 15 mins walk away.

We arrived at 3 am after a very long flight. The driver of the taxi was unfriendly. The receptionist took a very long time to check us in as if it was 3pm not 3 am! Poor welcome and at that hour no welcome drink. Had various problems which the staff were hopeless in solving since we had booked an extra day before our 4 day trip. Even though I went to reception in the morning they failed to realise they should give us new coded "keys". The security at the exit was such that on our third day we had to show proof that we were guests! Our taxi was searched for a very long time so it was easier not to drive in! Very bureaucratic. But would stay there again because of the pool and breakfast! But our sea view room faced a building site with the sea behind!

i am very familiar with dakar and so with the hotels there. what is best about pullman is the location. otherwise it is a standard property which can be classified as 'good'.

the breakfast sprwad needs to include greater fruits variety and at least one low sugar/sugar free cereal. both additions are very simple and can be done easily.

Good for business traveler, excellent pool nice view and central location

La situation de l'hôtel, la piscine, la literie, le petit déjeuner acceptable.

Chambre vétuste, balcon minuscule et inutilisable, téléviseur de plus de quinze ans avec des images brouillées, salle de bain dégradée, sinistre. Le restaurant est à éviter absolument, en particulier le buffet.

Personnel attentif room service super rapide, l´hotel est situé directment au centre ville et donne aussi accès à la mer. Petit déjeuner sur le térasse avec une vue magnifique. Une boite de nuit au sous sol franchement parfait ....

la camera era stata prenotata con vista mare, ma mi è stata assegnata una altra camera con vista città. cucina scarsa e con poche varietà. Il controllo della sicurezza, ad ogni volta che entri in Hotel, sembra a mio parere troppo carcerario ti dà un certo senso di oppressione e paura.

a peu pres tout , nous avons ete surpris de la qualité de l'hotel , tres tres bel hotel et tres tres bien equipé.

nous avons du changer de chambre 2 fois, une vue mer avait été réservée mais pas dispo à notre arrivée puis fuite d'eau dans la salle de bain, tous les jours il fallait demander une 2ème serviette de toilette.....nous étions au 2ème étage qui n'a pas été rénové alors chambres viellottes

La situation de l'hôtel et le prix

Le comportement du chargé de sécurité qui demande à ma femme de laisser son passeport à la réception pour regagner notre chambre le soir du 31 décembre, parce qu'elle est africaine !

Le confort et la situation géographique.

Arrivé à 22h30 pour prendre possession de ma chambre d'hôtel, il m'a été prétexté qu'une panne informatique avait généré des erreur dans le réservations. Aucune chambre n'était dès lors disponible alors que j'avais la veille de mon départ pris le soin d'appeler l'hôtel pour avoir une confirmation que la chambre était bien réservée. Pullman m'a transféré sa plus d'information dans un hôtel très moyen. Il avait toutefois été convenu que le lendemain une personne de l'hôtel devait venir me chercher pour retourner au Pullman. Cette personne n'est jamais venue. Un mot : inadmissible.

la musique au bar dans le hall est trop brouillante, surtout avec l'écho.

La gentillesse constante du personnel

L'hotel a besoin d'une vraie rénovation, les chambres font sales, les équipements sont obsoletes, les transats de la piscine sont immondes enfin bref c'était un bel hotel qui maintenant se dégrade !

Hotel de très bonne qualité, le personnel est au petit soin, vous demandant régulièrement si tout va bien, si il peuvent faire quelque chose pour vous, et toujours avec le sourire. Il y a aussi cette navette pour l'aéroport qui est très pratique. Le chauffeur prendra le chemin le plus rapide en fonction de l'heure; ce qui est efficace pour qui connait Dakar et ses monstres embouteillages.

The hotel is a Sofitel part f the Accor group and therefore it is not meant to be a budget hotel. The hotel is in serious need of renovation both the rooms need redecorating and the common areas. I would not recommend this hotel to business travellers.
