interesting fish market and behind a market for other stuff like fabrics, Souvenirs, Food,...
A nice beach, but annoying when you are a Tourist cause you cant walk for 2 minutes without somebody Talking to you.
I woulnd know what to do after 2 days, especially as a solo traveler.
If you are a couple and need some relaxation and time out, its probably more nice to just relax and Hang out there.
+ The location is great. Is out of the tourist area and you are not in a cocoon where you don't see the surrounding.
I felt really safe and comfortable at all times.
+ The staff is the best. Heart warming welcome always there for you in case you need help.
+ Room amazing. You have all you need and super super clean and comfortable.
+ Breakfast simple but more you don't need. It would be nice to have some fruit for breakfast though.
+ Swimming pool was definitely my favorite asset.
+ Price is top.
This was our favorite accomodation in Senegal. The manager and staff are wonderful and its location couldn't be better. The beach is widely frequented by locals - they go there to exercise, for a swim, etc, specially in the afternoon. You get a much better flavor of what a local beach is like. I much better appreciate this type of place then those private, closed resorts where you don't get a chance to meet or talk to locals.
We highly recomend Tama Lodge!
The location was very good based on our daily activities, the staffs were superb, very friendly and welcoming, they were always willing to address all our minor issues with success. The food was fantastic, the cook was very talented and this was shown in the taste and presentation. I know for sure that I will miss the food. Should i visit Senegal in the future, i will definitely book this hotel again and would recommend this hotel to friends and colleague.
A really lovely guest house. Thea is a wonderful person and is reflected in the staff and facilities. Close to the beach which is great for swimming and has lots of local activity. The restaurants and people around the hotel are great too and it's easy to make friends. I met some fun travellers staying at the hotel. Originally booked for 3 nights amd ended up staying 2 nights extra. And the pool is fantastic. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Mamadou the host was very welcoming.
Was there for 2 nights and did not spend time at the lodging at all. WiFi good . There is a large fully equipped kitchen and lounge All very clean. Double bedroom is small. Nice garden. A superb driver who went beyond duty was referred to us by the host. He took us round for the 2 days we were in mbour.
Iam giving 9 for the host and the driver they made our stay enjoyable
The owner Mamadou was kind, he welcomed us to the property, where I think we were the only guests at that time. Therefore, the stay was peaceful and relaxing. The room was nice, had a mosquito net (though no mosquitos in April), and it was clean. The garden is very pretty. It is not possible to order food at this guesthouse, but there is another hotel with a restaurant just across the street (Keur Marrakis).
If you are searching for a small peaceful hotel, this is the place to be. The owner is french and very helpful. Perfect if you want to escape from the big buffet hotels!
