Very friendly staff, excellent food, good value if what you want is budget accommodation. Managed by Olivier & Malou very friendly helpful people but only Olivier spoke English. Lovely beaches around for miles, nearest only 100 meters away, locals friendly & not too pushy but speak only Wolof, a version of French & if you are lucky a couple of English words, but they recognise English Premier team names if not the club badges on your shirt. Hotel was situated at the wrong end of Somone and the hotel is a bit tired & slightly run down, for instance the toilet was not properly secured to the ground, both patio chairs collapsed, the water was not always available & it was a bit dim inside the room, which was not the room we booked. Towels were not changed during our stay, not much to do generally & my wife didn't like the fact that 3 big dogs roamed about begging food & leaving dog mess on the gardens that was not cleared up during our 7 days there. Not a destination to visit if you are unable to speak French as English is barely spoken by anyone local or hotel staff.

Clean, basic rooms, good breakfast, good dinner restaurant, friendly staff Noisy : karaoke on Friday, bar other days open till 12pm, dogs, aircons : bring earplugs. Close to beach, but no shade or recliners on beach

The excellent welcome and assistance from Olivier and Malou. Also their friendly and efficient staff. The possibility to have a snack at the bar upon my late arrival from the airport on the first night. The next day, I spent a lovely day making friends and laughing. Olivier and Malou have created a lovely atmosphere. The evening entertainment on my first day was excellent, a female singer called "Belize" with a wonderful voice. It was nice sitting outside having dinner and listening to her. Also the free wifi is good to have. Olivier kindly organised for a taxi to pick me up at the airport.

The garden of the hotel is beautifull, the staff kind, the rooms clean, the food good. The filter of the air-conditioning (of the first room where we slept) was a little stinky: it need to be clean o substitute. On Friday the made karaokei: it was noisy until 1 o'clock in the night.

Trato inmejoreble de sus dueños belgas: Olivier y su mujer. Es un pequeño oasis en la tranquilidad del pueblo Somone. La cocina es excelente, de lo mejor de Senegal: con buenos productos y cocineros. Tuvimos un problema de salud y estuvieron muy atentos y lo solucionaron. Muy recomendable. si vas a Senegal y quiers costa y tranquilidad este es tu sitio. No te arrepentiras. gracias por todo.

Nous avons apprécié la gentillesse du personnel et le bon rapport qualité prix, ainsi que l'amabilité des propriétaires prêts à nous renseigner et pouvant nous aider à organiser des excursions. L'établissement est bruyant le soir, le restaurant de l'hôtel organise des animations et lorsque l'on a des enfants on souhaiterait être plus au calme après la nuit tombée!

The couple who run this hotel really make a lot of effort to make your stay as comfortable as possible, The service we received from the staff really was exception.The whole place had a really friendly feel too it.The food was of a good standard. this hotel is situated very close to a beautiful beach.....hope you enjoy the place as much as we did The bar can get lively/noisey at weekends so join in or bring some ear plugs
