Résidence Madamel is located just 5 minutes from Almadies Beach and Dakar airport. It offers a sheltered outdoor swimming pool and a spa with a hammam and massages. Rooms and suites at Madamel are contemporary in style and feature an LCD TV and an en suite bathroom. Some suites have a spa bath, a private balcony and a separate seating area. A continental breakfast is offered every morning.Traditional Senegalese or international meals are served in the restaurant. In the evening, guests can relax in the bar with a cocktail. Additional facilities include free Wi-Fi and a pool table by the swimming pool. Public parking is free at a location nearby and Dakar city centre is 15 minutes away. Pas grand chose ! peut être l'emplacement ! nous avons choisi la mini suite, mis a part le grand salon vide et pas agréable , ce n'est pas ce que nous espérions ! la salle de bain minuscule ou lorsque nous prenions une douche nous inondions l'entiéreté de la salle. pour le prix payé soit environs 170$ la nuit, nous aurions au Meridien 5* eut un confort bien supérieur. un séjour au MADAMEL décevant !!!!

La proximité de l'aéroport pour une arrivée tardive de l'avion, quartier calme et personnel accueillant L'hotel qui n'est ouvert que depuis 4 ans présente déjà des signes de décrépitude, peinture écaillée, robinetterie mal fixée,etc.. Le matelas du lit est mou, finalement beaucoup de tape à l'oeil ... pour un prix qui n'est pas en rapport la qualité de la prestation

The Hotel is well placed, and the people are very kind. Wifi is ok, Pool is ok, Restaurant is ok :=) It was certainly a very nice hotel 5 years ago, but as everywhere in Africa if you do not maintain, things break... So the shower broke, but they replaced it gently :=) More annoying is the open spaces around the doors and windows that let the mosquitos get in at every time... And they find their way every time :=)

Eigentlich überhaupt nichts.....komplette Katastrophe Unfreundliche Servicemitarbeiter, Frühstück ist eine Zumutung, der Boden am Hotelpool / Innenhof ist an vielen Stellen übersäet mit kaputten, gesprungenen Fließen wo man sich leicht dir Füße aufschneidet,

- Friendly staff, who really tried to help: I asked for a mosquitonet and they installed one. I asked for a shower after check-out, and they let me take one (no charge). - This is a no-frills simple hotel, but things work, it is clean, and staff are helpful. None of these can be taken for granted in most hotels in Africa. - Internet worked well - Good breakfast - Large room

La gentillesse du personnel Le foot à la TV au restaurant pendant tout le séjour. Les douches qui ne fonctionnent pas. L'hôtel qui se dégrade ! Dommage, ou est le patron ?

breakfast was good, but everyday the same. free wifi. location: closeby airport, and US embassy. bed. room (some maintenance be needed., but they try to solve problems very quick.)

Secure, quiet neighorhood, near embassies and away from 99% of the locals(that you don't want to know) constantly harassing you w/"my friend, my friend" pitches. A/c, mosquito netting. Very over-priced for amenities(or rather lack thereof) but others in neghborhood were too. Pool was as useless as waters at the beach-no one dared use either.
