Atrium Beach Resort & Spa  

The apt. was beautiful, clean, the price was the best on the island; would stay there again. The scenic view was nice, & the staff was great.

The water in the shower was poor flow...just dripping Could not get warm shower, only cold or very hot, no in between. Had to use pot with bath stream to wet self. The door to the deck/porch was very,very difficult to open & close ! The air conditioner was dripping on the deck but was fixed immediately when we reported it. Very good service.

At check-in desk clerk seemed puzzled by Booking.com reservation. He also mentioned the rate seemed too low. He then gave us a room just off the main lobby with the security desk outside our room. For some reason security was very busy all night in this "quiet safe hotel". Constant radio communications throughout the night prevented a good sleep. Our balcony overlooked a vacant lot next to the hotel filled with construction debris. The room itself was clean but in need of an upgrade. The floor tiles were chipped. The enamel was chipped off the steel bathtub. Oddly the bathroom had a new high end one piece toilet and a recent looking solid marble vanity top. At check-out I asked if better rooms were available and was assured they were. I am not sure if we got a lousy room because we booked though Booking.com or because the check-in clerk was trying to fill lousy rooms first. I would never stay at the Atrium again. I stay in hotels 14 to 21 nights per year; this one is the worst in many years.

It was is very run down. We would not stay here again nor recommend it to anyone. It doesn't look like the pictures. They said they are renovating. They need it badly.

Access to beach. Atrium has different patio areas - poolside or just outside the main lobby where you can catch a nice breeze to cool off and still have ocean view. Very quiet and relaxing. Good restaurants all within walking distance.

Our balcony looked over Billy Folly Rd and construction. Balcony was useless no table/chairs and loud ac unit which took up a lot of space. While booking, it said all balconies were furnished. Disappointed that we did not get oceanview and our room was in the unrenovated part of the resort and requires work. The day we checked in a woman in The Greenhouse Restaurant accosted us for a free dinner cruise for the next evening. Next day she approached us and asked why we didn't finalize the 'deal". I do not like being accosted like that in a Resort. The water/hydro/resort fees should be posted as additional charges. For the studio we got it was overpriced. It should have included a complimentary breakfast or coffee at least. Our room key had to be re-programmed at leas once a day.

I was very happy with the cleanliness of the whole hotel and the very efficient and friendly staff.

Great beach, large bedroom, 5 minutes from airport. We arrived early and they were very accommodating, allowing us to use the hospitality room, store our luggage, and use of the pool and beach.

Slightly below average hotel no real likes, but the lobby was kept clean.

Maid service was hit and miss. Slow to repair broken items ie Lights in the gym took 3 days to change a bulb ! The tread mill was not working properly.I reported it and even after 2 weeks was still not repaired. lots of litter on their beach area.

We liked the location.It is only minutes from the airport. It is near many good restaurants.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room furnishings were dated but very clean and a large and spacious layout. Martha from house keeping was great, answered any questions we had and kept our room spotless.

Everything, the hotel is great!!. I was on 805, the view is half to the sea, half to the mountains. Completelly in front of the simpson bay beach. The room has refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, stove, oven, dishes, silverware, air conditioner, tv, free parking. The hotel is only 1 minute walk from the nearest dive center and have many restaurants around.

Check out at 10am on saturday.
