the room is cleaned one day by week ! The staff told me the cause is a "time share" the primary room was far from the pool, from the parking and had no elevator "I asked to change" but for a studio vs a suite unfortunately the staff is noisy early the morning they speak loud it is impossible to sleep with the machines "lawn mowing" etc why they don't do that in the afternoon ? Attention of ' the acid water " grave of the pipe in the park automobile and damages the carosserie of cars no breakfast unfortunately

Everything about the resort from the time we checked in until the day we left. We have traveled over 25 years and never met a friendlier staff. Can't wait to return. Also, loved Topper's Restaurant..great food,staff.

Careful, the 20% taxes do not show on the booking at the time of reservation. It is shown in small print.

We were there for the Heineken Regatta and the resort was only a 15 min. walk to the action. Facilities were excellent and the rooms were kept clean by a great housekeeping staff. Beautiful views from the point on Pelican Key with a nice beach and pool. It seemed like a safe area of town.

After spending alot of money-both the owner on their units and the rentors on their rental, they nickel and dime you on the use of a computer in the lobby. That left a bad feeling.

Shane McDowall at the front desk was very nice and made me fell welcomed, your lucy to have him.

The staff were super friendly and the beach and pool area were excellent. It seemed everyone worked hard to meet our needs.

The furniture and rec areas were somewhat worn and the unit I was assigned was up a large hill. quite a hike to go anywhere.

Old hotel, room service 1th a week!!

We only wanted a hotel near the airport for an overnight stay. For this it was very expensive but there didn't seem to be any other sort of hotel available near the airport. They are all aimed at holidaymakers. Taxi cost us us$10 to the airport the following morning. The room was large and comfortable with balcony and ocean view and a kitchen so easy to cook a meal. The decor was slightly dated and lacked charm but was very functional. Everything was very clean. The whole complex was large but very suited to a basic family beachside holiday. The beaches and pool were very good for young children. The garden areas around the complex were also very well maintained and attractive.

It isn't near a town and is surrounded by holiday homes and large holiday residences. So a car would be useful for a longer stay. There was a small supermarket nearby with all the basics and a restaurant which was fairly expensive. Small on-site restaurant with limited menu offer and again expensive. All food seems to be under American influence which didn't suit our tastes. When booking you do need to watch out for the 20% tax they add onto the room price at the end. Despite the words "Final Amount" there is small print which informs of the 20% tax to be added in which is easy to miss when doing searches and your mind is elsewhere !! I would still recommend the French side of the island, which is where we spent our holiday. Important to remember to bring us dollars. It is the best currency for all transactions. They give a rate of €1 = $1 if you buy in euros.

We were impressed with how efficient and friendly all of the staff were. They went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Location is perfect! We spent much of our time on the property itself - something we did not do when we stayed at different hotel on Simpsons Bay.

the rooms are big and nice. You have a big sitting area and the kitchen is fully equipt.

I didn't like the cleaning service. The room was clean and I don't expect them to mob the floors or clean the badroom. But they don't even make up your bed and pick up the dirty towels. I think that would be reasonable for the price you pay.

Good facilities, friendly people, nice beach and pool, very relaxing and confortable areas. Nice rooms well equiped. I already recommended it to my friends and I would definitely will come back.

Extra sofa bed mattress was worn out and dirty sheets and blanket were left inside, it was not made by the time we arrived to the room. Time between "check out" (10:00 am) and "check in" (4:00 pm) is too long, 6 hrs. of difference. If you are staying for a week end, you only have your room from 4:00 pm on Friday until 10:00 am on Sunday. Not even the two whole days.. You only have to enjoy the beach and shower on Saturday, this can not be done on Sunday since you have to leave early morning. It'll be better if check out is moved to 2:00 pm and check in at 6:00 pm. Restaurant service is not the best ... needs improving. Friendly people though. Parking lot is too small.

This was our first time to St Maarten and we stayed at the Flamingo Resort because the people we went with have stayed there for eleven years in a row. We were traveling with two very young children (1 & 2 1/2)- the room was perfect- first floor, ocean front, full kitchen, a living area that could be separated from the bedroom area so we could still stay awake and hang out even after we've put the kids to bed, two flat screen TV's (one in bedroom and one in living room spot)... Overall extremely happy with the entire experience.

We didn't have a broom and dustpan in our room which we really should have had since it was first floor and right on the sand- we felt like our floor, bed, everything was covered in sand the whole time. Our travel companions said that they had them in their rooms and that we should have had it in ours so maybe it was an oversight.

cleaning the room every day

The room and facilities were great. The whole complex was very friendly and well maintained. There were plenty of activities should you wish to join in. The pool and beach area were great. It was easy to walk to nearby restuarants and bars to eat and drink. We had a fantastic time and would recommend to anyone visiting St Maarten.

The toilet did not function. No hot water in the kitchen. Lights shorted out. Lots of mildew and water stains on the ceiling. 6 days before we could get a cleaning person to come to the room. Incredibly poor management!

The staff was warm and welcoming gave accurate and helpful advice about the resort and the island (St Maarten ) in general must say my first time and wont be my last.

The resort needs to have a couple take along food storage containers weather disposable or reusable. I payed 2bucks for a Styrofoam disposable container at toppers I can get an entire stack for that.

The location was good.

We were there for three days and could only get room service on demand. At the check in one should explain in short what services could be expected. In the room one can smell the mildew. There were mosquitos and cockroaches in the room.
